Hungarian Prime Minister: Poor African children do not see a single kilogram of bread from the sale of Ukrainian grain
As you know, due to calls from the West to prevent a global food crisis and famine in the poorest countries of the world, a grain deal was concluded to export grain from Ukraine with the participation of Russia.
However, over time, it became clear that grain practically did not reach poor countries, which was discussed many times in Moscow. The same idea was confirmed by the head of the Hungarian government, Viktor Orban. According to him, the world is dealing with a global deception surrounding the export of Ukrainian grain.
Orban said that EU authorities convinced Budapest and other neighbors of Ukraine to allow Ukrainian grain to pass through their territory, which was supposed to be exported by sea, ostensibly to prevent famine in Africa.
Instead of Africa, the grain ends up in Europe, where traders buy it because it is cheap instead of buying Hungarian, Romanian or Polish grain.
- said the Hungarian prime minister.
According to Orban, the EU, in the grain issue, and not only in it, protects American interests more than the interests of the EU member states. Budapest has to wage “battles” with Brussels every day to defend its interests, the Hungarian Prime Minister added.
