A Russian fighter jet deprived the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of another Mi-8 helicopter

The new day of hostilities again did not bring significant changes to the situation on the line of combat contact, the enemy continues to press in the south, but not so much, having shifted the emphasis to the Artemovsk area, ours continue to move near Kupyansk, having captured about ten strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces the day before.

Let's start today with army and assault aviation, rotorcraft and attack aircraft did a good job on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along the entire front line, destroying two control points of the 100th TRO brigade and the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Serebryanka and Krasny Liman areas. In the Trudovoy area of the Zaporozhye region, thanks to their efforts, an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up. And in Novopavlovka, the P-18 air target detection and tracking radar was destroyed.

Also, the Russian fighter deprived the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of another helicopter, having shot down another Ukrainian Mi-8 in the Krasny Liman area. The military does not provide details, most likely we are talking about a Su-35S that flew out to hunt Ukrainian military aircraft in the area of the line of combat contact, and a helicopter was caught.

Now to combat operations in the main directions. In Donetsk, the enemy, with the forces of the 80th Airborne Assault and 59th Motorized Infantry Brigades, attacked our positions eight times in the areas of Kleshcheevka, Andreevka, Berdychi and Pervomayskoye. The fighting was fierce, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to almost drive our units out of Kleshcheevka, but with a counterattack the Russian fighters regained their positions and occupied a few new ones. In Andreevka, the situation is also difficult, there are also battles in the populated area. Despite this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to break through the defenses; losses amounted to up to 350 people killed and wounded, in terms of equipment: three combat vehicles, five cars, three M777 howitzers, one M109 self-propelled gun and one D-30 gun. In the Dyleevka area, the ammunition depot of the 28th mechanized brigade was destroyed.

In Zaporozhye, the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent groups of the 82nd Airborne Assault and 71st Jaeger Brigades to attack; ours repelled three attacks in the Verbovoye area. The Rabotino area is quieter. They report from the front line that ours managed not only to repel the attacks, but to move forward, clearing forest belts, and at the same time took new prisoners. They say that there are a lot of abandoned corpses of dry land. In terms of losses: up to 95 killed and wounded, a tank, two armored combat vehicles and three cars. During the counter-battery fight, the howitzer M777, FH-70 (loaded with Lancet), M119, Msta-B, D-20 and D-30 were hit.

In Yuzhno-Donetsk, ours repelled one attack by the assault group of the 128th TRO brigade in the Priyutnoye area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 140 military personnel, a tank, two armored combat vehicles and three cars.

In the Krasno-Limansky direction, an attack by the assault group of the 63rd mechanized brigade in the Chervonaya Dibrova area was repelled. In the area of Seversk, Grigorovka and Serebryanka, attacks were carried out on the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Up to 55 personnel, three armored fighting vehicles, three cars, and a D-20 howitzer were destroyed.

On Kupyansky, ours continue to advance on a broad front, more than ten Ukrainian Armed Forces support forces were captured in one day, and an attack by the assault group of the 30th mechanized brigade in the Sinkovka area was repelled. Enemy losses: up to 130 military vehicles, two infantry fighting vehicles and three vehicles. During counter-battery warfare: M777 howitzer, M109 Paladi self-propelled guns, as well as AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar. In the Berestovoe and Tikhoe districts, two ammunition depots of Ukrainian Armed Forces units were destroyed.

In the Kherson direction, up to 70 Ukrainian military personnel, an armored combat vehicle, seven cars, and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in one day.

It would have been better if he had deprived them of ten Su-24Ms yesterday morning.

In general, the demand from those who publish information is that they need to be more careful and not broadcast just anything...
By the way, Malyar, according to VO, has already deleted the post about the seizure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of Andreevka as unreliable

Good position. I'm not me, they're all military officers. And whose conscience is the selection of military officers? Let's say, to notice Malyar's message about Andreevka and not notice the refutation - whose merit is this?

Or, say, not to notice the message that the Ukrainians have already been driven out of Kleshcheevka (which is particularly cited in this article)

Or not to notice that there is no confirmation of the objective destruction of the S-400/S-300, there are words from the SBU and military officers and a photo of an explosion somewhere on the horizon.

In general, doubts about your objectivity arise quite rightly

They took it off the tongue, which means they can’t organize round-the-clock duty from dangerous directions, and accordingly the AWACS doesn’t work... They’re shaking, understanding. how little of everything and God forbid, they will lose.

From the very beginning of the Northern Military District, I have been counting the losses of aircraft shot down by other aircraft (without taking into account the work of air defense and aircraft destroyed on the ground) by both sides of the conflict. According to my calculations, since February 24, 274 aircraft of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been shot down, with the loss of 6 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces (not counting UAVs and CD). The main source is MO reports and a couple of TG channels (I don’t subscribe to Fighterbomber, there’s too much useless husk there). Looking at these statistics, it wasn’t always interesting how the “military forces” got so many planes and helicopters, since they are shot down so often? (a year ago, reports of aerial victories were reported almost every day) And secondly, how do the Aerospace Forces count an aerial victory for pilots? only based on their reports?

There was a photo of the wreckage of a downed Mi-6 near Mariupol in UN coloring.
There are many options. The rocket launch time, rocket flight time, and the disappearance of the mark on the locator screen are calculated. Differently.

The source https://militarizm.livejournal.com/ would advise you very much
So far, the best I have come across in analyzing the losses of the Ukrainian Air Force based on open sources. And judging by the current state of affairs, it is quite plausible.

Based on the reports, it is impossible to give a calculation of losses because without evidence they are just words.

100% Konashenkoism. Sending the Su-35 to independently search and destroy targets on the LBS is guaranteed to expose it to enemy air defense. Which one will it do?
Well, a helicopter is a very difficult target for a front-line fighter. There was an experience when during training we worked for a goal. Until you rise above the relief above 200 meters, they don’t see anything.
Despite the fact that there were Soviet pilots, the level of training was incomparably higher.

Another nonsense. A helicopter is the easiest target for a fighter. There was information about how a Russian fighter destroyed one Sumerian and two helicopters in one flight.

Are you out of your mind? Under what air defense? Does the Ukrainian Armed Forces have continuous coverage of the air defense front line? If it's a MANPADS, it's optics; until you see it, you don't shoot. Why the hell do we need the Air Force at all? How to fly beautifully over ground cleared by infantry?

The task of the Air Force is to provide a database for the ground forces. That is, first of all, work on NC. And at present, the aircraft is primarily a highly mobile platform for guided weapons which does not need to enter the enemy’s air defense zone.

Who will shoot down the SU-24 of the Ukrainian Armed Forces? Are these also pinwheels against the background of the earth? And the Air Force’s task is to destroy everything that the enemy flies and shoots at our troops, bases, warehouses and ships.

The task of the Air Force is to provide a database for the ground forces. That is, first of all, work on NC.

And this problem is solved by gaining air supremacy, i.e. "decisive superiority of aviation of one of the warring parties in the airspace of a theater of war or in a strategic (operational) direction (in an area), allowing ground forces, naval forces, air forces and the rear of the country (coalition of countries) to carry out their tasks without significant opposition from aviation and Enemy air defense."
Unfortunately, Russian aviation was unable to solve this problem for a number of reasons, which predetermined the protracted and unsuccessful course of the conflict.
If there had been at least not dominance, but superiority in the air, the Ukrainians would not have been able to launch a large-scale offensive.

Something is not enough for you, if we believe Konoshenkov, 467 aircraft out of 124 and 248 helicopters out of 128 have already been shot down.
