American press: The fate of several dozen Stryker armored personnel carriers delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces remains unknown

Currently, the fate of several dozen American Stryker armored personnel carriers delivered to the Ukrainian army remains unknown. According to the American press, 189 units of this equipment were transferred to the militants of the Kyiv regime.

According to the American publication Forbes, Ukrainian military personnel are forced to use MTLB armored personnel carriers, adopted by the Soviet army in 1964. Initially, it was planned to equip three battalions of the 82nd brigade of the Ukrainian army with American armored personnel carriers. It was planned to allocate 30 US-supplied armored personnel carriers to each battalion.

Before the start of the “counteroffensive,” the Ukrainian command formed new brigades, including the 42nd, equipped with enough American Stryker armored personnel carriers for at least one battalion. The rest of the equipment used by this brigade is represented by MTLB, spare hulls of which Kyiv has in abundance, but there remains a shortage of turrets suitable for them.

The author of the material published in the American publication asks the question why the Ukrainian command does not give the above-mentioned brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces more Strykers. However, in his opinion, American equipment could possibly have been transferred to another brigade that had not yet been introduced into combat.

Earlier it was reported about the supply of American Stryker armored personnel carriers and Cougar armored vehicles to Ukraine. The American military equipment transferred to Kyiv was demonstrated by the then Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov, who posted on social networks a video with Stryker and Cougar received from American curators.

Well, for starters, you need to monitor the arms markets. Some of them can easily fight far beyond the borders of Vofland. Another part may already be disposed of in the combat zone, and the third part may be half-disassembled into significant spare parts, and the hulls will stand somewhere near the front line.

Why monitor it when the United States today occupies a leading position in arms sales. Almost 40% of all weapons in the world are purchased from the United States.

Laughter is laughter, but these words are a little alarming:
However, in his opinion, American equipment could possibly have been transferred to another brigade that had not yet been introduced into combat.
This means that somewhere there may be a fairly combat-ready, trained brigade.

The Stryker is not a machine gun, you can’t hide it in the back of your car, and you can’t take it across the border. I think everything is simpler, the Strikers burned out, the crew and the commander of the unit to which he was assigned died, and there was no one willing to look for the wreckage in the fields of Zaporozhye, there was simply no one to report the location.

But the Americans didn’t look for Strykers in the bushes and grass in Ukraine; tanks are disappearing there, not to mention some armored personnel carriers.

And in the bushes and grass in Ukraine...

And I have a question - what was conveyed according to the documents. Does this mean that the equipment has physically arrived at VNAU? Maybe even before departure there was a “shrinkage with shrinkage”?

The most exciting and safest activity is to look for the culprit.
Especially if it’s your own fault and you’re leading the search. winked

Sold, wasted or destroyed by Our Armed Forces, this is a trifle compared to the billions taken away in an unknown direction, but whoever admits this, the “hegemon” has no corruption, only lobbying interests.

, American equipment could possibly have been transferred to another brigade that had not yet been introduced into combat.

If the Americans do not already have data on the composition of the equipment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then it is useless to look for these Strikers. The Arabs already have them

They say they are fragile. It’s more likely that they just broke down and, due to the lack of opportunity to fix them, they just sit somewhere.
