Su and MiGs for ChinaTomorrow, 16 in November, the eighth international aerospace show Airshow China 2010, the largest in Asia and one of the largest in the world, opens in Zhuhai, China.

Despite a slight decline in China’s share in the structure of Russian arms exports, Beijing remains one of the most important Russian partners. In particular, a number of contracts for aircraft and air defense are being carried out.

“The Russian equipment is successfully used in the Chinese army, the foundation is strong, so we need to look for ways that will take into account the interests of both parties,” said Sergei Kornev, head of the Rosoboronexport delegation.

Russia brought the latest aircraft to Zhuhai. The Su aircraft are represented by Su-30MK and Su-30MK2 fighters, one of the most sought-after, various modifications of which fly today in China, India, Malaysia and Venezuela. MiG fighter aircraft - the MiG-29CMT, MiG-35 and its two-seat modification usually cause no less interest abroad. A distinctive feature of the MiG-35 is a successful combination of high flight performance, combat effectiveness, reliability and safety indicators. It is equipped with the Zhuk-AE on-board radar with an active phased antenna array that detects targets at a distance of up to 150 km and simultaneously accompanies the 30 of them. At the same time, the pilot can simultaneously attack several targets with high-precision weapons.

For the training of the crews, the Yak-130 combat training aircraft entering into service with our Air Force is proposed. Due to flight characteristics, a special onboard program of imitation of combat modes today, it is considered the most effective means of training pilots for all modern fighters. In addition, the Yak-130 can successfully be used as a light combat aircraft.

Experts will be able to familiarize themselves with the Be-200 amphibian aircraft, which have proven themselves in extinguishing fires in Europe and Russia. Other exhibits include military transport Il-76MD and Il-112В, tanker Il-78МК, patrol Il-114MP.

Russia remains one of the world leaders in a number of areas of the helicopter industry. This year, as compared to 2009, the volume of their exports increased by 30 percent. The Mi family is represented in Zhuhai by the no-combat Mi-35М transport, the Mi-171Sh military transport, the Mi-26T helicopter most loaded in the world, and its upgraded version Mi-26Т2. Mi-26 showed its unique capabilities in China in extinguishing fires and eliminating the effects of earthquakes. With his help, it was possible to quickly transfer military and rescue units, heavy construction equipment to the destroyed settlements, and also to evacuate the victims. The latest modification of the Mi-26Т2 has a reduced crew and is equipped with a new avionics, allowing you to fly at any time of the day.

A whole range of Kamov helicopters, including Ka-32 multipurpose and Ka-226T, Ka-31 radar patrol helicopter. Increased attention is expected to the combat Ka-52, which is distinguished by powerful armor and weaponry. The unique maneuverability allows the Ka-52 to make a U-turn in a short time in order to gain a favorable attacking position. The helicopter can and effectively conduct reconnaissance, observation and target designation, be used as a command vehicle, coordinating a group of combat helicopters.
