Russian resources report the destruction of five Ukrainian aircraft at an airfield near Krivoy Rog during a night strike

The photo is illustrative

The combined night strike on the Dolgintsevo military airfield in the Krivoy Rog region turned out to be very effective; according to preliminary information, the Ukrainian Air Force lost five combat aircraft at once. Several Russian TG channels and military correspondents reported this at once.

On the night from Sunday to Monday, the Russian Armed Forces launched a combined strike with high-precision weapons at military facilities in the Krivoy Rog region. As it turned out, the target of Russian missiles and drones-kamikaze became the Dolgintsevo military airfield, where combat aircraft of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were based. According to preliminary information, the strike resulted in the destruction of five aircraft: two MiG-29 fighters and three Su-25 attack aircraft. In addition, the airfield infrastructure was damaged.

Information is being received, not yet officially confirmed, about the destruction of five enemy combat aircraft at the Dolgintsevo airfield near Krivoy Rog

- military correspondent Poddubny writes in his TG channel.

According to information provided by military expert Boris Rozhin, at the beginning of September the Ukrainian command deployed several strike forces to the Dolgintsevo airfield drones, as well as a batch of HARM anti-radar missiles. It is possible that some of them were also destroyed. We will wait for the official message from the Ministry of Defense; most likely, it will only be published tomorrow in the daily report.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strikes “in the area” of Krivoy Rog, but there is no data on the defeat of anything. At the same time, the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ignat, stated that the Ukrainian air defense was unable to intercept the Kh-31P and Kh-59 missiles launched by Russian Su-35S and Su-34 aircraft, although it allegedly “shot down all” kamikaze drones “Geranium” .

You need to understand that the Kh-59MK2 missile defense system with a range of 550 km was used? And the Kh-31PM turns out to be for air defense or not only for air defense?

The first time people started talking about this missile was in March 2022. The target of the attack was the Gavrishovka airfield of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, at that time eight X-31PMs were launched, destroying Ukrainian An-26 military transport aircraft and a helicopter group of Mi-8 transport aircraft. The runway was also destroyed.

The next known use occurred on July 11, when Su-30 SM fighters attacked anti-aircraft air defense systems, radar stations and other objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a supersonic air-to-surface anti-radar missile Kh-31P.

Go to Kassad, he has a report from Military Bellance about the destroyed dill art. For all counts - more than was in service with dill and more than delivered. There are also gray schemes, such as decommissioned aircraft being driven, dill is not a pity, enough for 1 flight. If already at the beginning of the 14th, for example, the Chernobyl equipment evaporated somewhere, do you think now they will not stuff a pig into a rusty ashtray, which, according to the balance, does not even pass from old age anywhere? That's where the planes come from

      Well, that's how to say.
The Su-24 may indeed be “endless” to some extent, because not a single such aircraft has been delivered from abroad.
      And why not?

Yes, because as of 1992, on the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR there were about 200 (two hundred!!!) Su-24 aircraft of various modifications and years of production.
Including the rarest Su-24MP jammers produced in a limited batch that were based in Chertkov in the West of the Ukrainian SSR.
Su-24M bombers and Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft under a hundred.

It is clear that over 30 years, most of this armada has fallen into disrepair - it was written off, stolen, disassembled for spare parts or put into storage.

There could be at least 24-24 Su-60M and Su-80MR in storage, not counting those that were listed in the Ukrainian Air Force.
They were stationed at airfields and airfields, some in hangars.

Therefore, it is difficult to say how many Su-24s are currently in storage and in service there.
Probably no more than a dozen survived in service, and all of them are used as carriers of European cruise missiles.
I think another 30-40 of these non-flying ones are in storage and are used as donors/or to make up for losses.

There are also gray schemes, such as decommissioned aircraft being driven, don’t mind the dill, enough for 1 flight.

So and so, but it takes more than one year to train even a mediocre pilot, otherwise he simply will not take off.

Some of the planes hit on the ground could have been non-flying and decommissioned, or simply mock-ups. Not a very secret military trick.
In Iraq, the Americans took credit for what was decommissioned along the edges of Iraqi airfields. The battle scores were increased.

you know what happens to critical parts over 30 years, but in fact more

taking into account the quality of storage and attempts to sell what is possible
so all your 200 planes are fantasies on pieces of paper
to them you can add UFOs and ships of predators that have visited the earth over millions of years.

it’s another matter if the Luftwaffe didn’t suffer such losses as stated

The fact that their losses are overestimated is true. There is no doubt about it.
But a category 1 part is in the ATI warehouse and after 30 years it will be category 1 if the storage conditions are met.
Then, Ukraine has enough ARZ and production of many important systems such as helmet-mounted target designation systems, flight data recorders, etc.
So not all 200 aircraft, but 30-35 were probably maintained in service (about a dozen remained) and maybe 30-50 were in storage.
There you can assemble one out of 2-3.
Even if a number of systems do not work, this is no longer important and unnecessary.

Take it, pick it up, bring it and drop “Shadow” where needed. That's their whole function.

Photos from space... what will they give?
It is obvious that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not fools either... and during the daytime everything was hidden somewhere around the bush...
And if they pulled it out, it was to carry out tasks... maybe they even sat down so as not to burn the take-off site in another place... then they dragged it by transport in a semi-disassembled form at night “where it needed to be”
If there are photographs from military satellites that take pictures in different spectra day and night... then they are usually not in the public domain
Based on them, they decided to hit... and how many were bitten or hit... they will only find out through the moles

Maybe he will turn to the Western media who post photos of airfields and other Russian Federation after hits, so find out which company is paying for photos from space the next day and before that, well, for example, don’t resort to the military for money, then private companies take photos of anything, but that’s not certain !

What planes can you describe? Aviation accounting in the world is quite strict, the data of these countries is open, so that you don’t have to strain too much, you can just go to WIKI. Something was supplied and it was reported about it belatedly. Mainly the MIG-29, about the SU-24 no one gave a sane answer about where they could have been supplied, the questions were answered only with a typical bot answer: from a lot of places, yourself, but are you an expert or what? etc.

Heritage from the USSR! Almost 200 remained as of 1992.
