The next day of the Russian special operation did not bring significant changes to the situation on the line of combat contact; Russian troops are still attacking in the north, Ukrainian troops in the south. The main directions where fierce fighting continues are Zaporozhye and Donetsk. This is stated in a new report from the Ministry of Defense.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy lost up to 200 people killed and wounded, trying to attack in the areas of Kurdyumovka, Avdeevka and Krasnogorovka. Ours repelled five attacks, but in the area of Opytnyi the Armed Forces of Ukraine still managed to push through our defenses and enter the village, occupying half of it. Now the fighting is going on in the populated area itself, our people are again trying to push out the enemy, as they have already done. No changes in other areas. In terms of equipment, the enemy lost: eight vehicles, a D-30 howitzer and an AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar. In the Dyleevka area, the ammunition depot of the 28th mechanized brigade was destroyed.
In Yuzhno-Donetsk, assault groups of the 38th Marine Brigade and the 128th TRO Brigade attacked the positions of Russian troops in the Novomayorskoye and Priyutnoye areas three times. In the Vodyanoye area our aviation and artillery covered a column of armored vehicles of the 72nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Losses amounted to up to 160 personnel, two armored combat vehicles, four vehicles and three Msta-B howitzers.
In the Zaporozhye direction in the Rabotino area, an attack by assault units of the 47th mechanized brigade was repelled. In the Verbovoye area, ours attacked the advancing units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the flank. In one day, up to 145 dry land were destroyed here, two tank, three vehicles and a British-made Stormer HVM air defense system. During the counter-battery fight, the following were hit: M109 Paladin self-propelled guns, M119, Msta-B and D-20 howitzers. In the Trudovoye area, the ST-68 low-altitude target detection and tracking radar was destroyed.
On Krasno-Limansky, assault groups of the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked three times west of Chervonay Dibrovo, but to no avail. Enemy losses amounted to: up to 70 killed and wounded, two armored combat vehicles, two pickup trucks, and a D-20 howitzer.
In the Kupyansky direction, ours carried out attacks in the areas of Stroevka, Sinkovka, Kislovka and Peschanoye, artillery and aviation worked. There is no information about the promotion, apparently, preparations are underway. Enemy losses amounted to 80 military vehicles, two vehicles, and a D-30 howitzer. In the Tabaevka area of the Kharkov region, an ammunition depot of the 103rd TRO brigade was destroyed.
In the Kherson direction, up to 20 Ukrainian military personnel, three vehicles, two D-30 howitzers, as well as the Bukovel-AD electronic warfare station against UAVs were destroyed in one day. A control point for Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles was destroyed in the Berislav area.
