The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine allowed the mobilization of those who are limitedly fit for military service and simplified the requirements for conscripting paratroopers and marines
In Ukraine, from this day on, the mobilization of men with limited fitness for military service will be allowed. The corresponding order was issued by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In accordance with this order, all persons with “controversial” articles will be considered fit for military service. We are talking about articles 2-in, 4-in, 5-in, 12-in, 13-in, 14-in, 17-in, 21-in, 22-in. Citizens recognized as limited fit for military service will be considered fit for service in specific military specialties. Relevant decisions will be made by military medical commissions.
Another important innovation is that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has simplified the requirements for conscription and mobilization in airborne, airborne assault, airmobile units, and marine infantry units of the naval forces. Thus, those who could not previously even dream of serving in the marines or landing forces will be able to mobilize into these troops.
The decision of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to call up those with limited fit indicates a large personnel shortage at the front. If you decide to take on people with medical limitations, who are more likely to become a burden for military units, then the shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian army becomes catastrophic.
Earlier, Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, in an ironic manner, said that the military-political leadership of Ukraine was going to call on "a huge number of Schweiks", drawing parallels between the current situation in Ukraine with the work "The Adventures of the Good Soldier Schweik" and the fate of its protagonist.
