The 7000th aviation Russian Air Force Base at Baltimore (Voronezh) airfield on December 25, 2012, as expected, arrived five new Su-34 front-line bombers, built by the Novosibirsk Aviation Production Association named after VP Chkalov (NAPO). The arriving aircraft had red side numbers "11", "12", "20", "21" and "22". Another five Su-34s built by NAPO on account of the 2012 plan of the year will be transferred to Baltimore only in January of the 2013 year.

    The air force of Russia is getting stronger.

    By the way, the last time I wanted to ask, why is there such a transition from "12" to "20" in the rooms?

        Meanwhile, in the Ground Forces

        The Ministry of Defense will buy an experimental batch of tanks from 16 "Armata"

        The Russian Ministry of Defense intends to start purchasing promising main battle tanks based on a single platform of heavy armored vehicles "Armata" in 2014. This, as reported by "Interfax", said Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov. According to him, an order will be placed first for the supply of an experimental-industrial batch of 16 new tanks.

        On the basis of an experimental batch of combat vehicles, it is planned to carry out controlled military operations. Borisov did not specify other details regarding the purchase of promising combat vehicles. According to the current schedule, the first prototype of a tank based on the Armata platform should be created already in 2013, and from 2015, the delivery of new combat vehicles to the troops is expected.

        The technical project "Almaty" approved by the Ministry of Defense of Russia 23 March 2012. According to the Chief of the Main Automobile and Armored Directorate of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, Major General Alexander Shevchenko, the project fully complies with all the requirements of the military department. The development of a promising tank is engaged in Uralvagonzavod.

          Meanwhile, in the Strategic Rocket Forces

          Russia will create new "nuclear trains"

          The Russian defense-industrial complex will create the first prototypes of a new combat railway missile complex (BZHRK) by 2020, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in the defense industry. Development work under this project is already underway. According to preliminary estimates, the first "nuclear trains" will enter service with the Strategic Missile Forces after 2020.

          Until 2005, Russia was armed with 12 BZHRK 15P961 "Molodets" with 36 launchers of RT-23 UTTKh ballistic missiles in three divisions: the 10th missile in the Kostroma region, the 52nd in the Perm region and the 36th in the Krasnoyarsk region. The development of these complexes began in the USSR in 1969, and the first regiment with a BZHRK took up combat duty in 1987.

          In 1993, Russia and the United States signed a Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START II), according to which the Russian Strategic Missile Forces were to first limit the patrol routes of Molodtsov, and by 2003, completely remove these complexes from service. Despite the fact that in 2002 Russia officially withdrew from START II by the end of 2005, the railway missile systems were still decommissioned, and in 2006 the Strategic Missile Forces began to receive Topol-M ground mobile systems.

          An agreement on further reduction of strategic offensive arms (START III) is currently in force between Russia and the United States, however, this document does not prohibit the parties from creating combat railway missile systems.

          BZHRK "Molodets" included three diesel locomotives DM62, a command post of seven cars, a tank car with supplies of fuel and lubricants and three launchers. Outwardly, the strategic train looked identical to a conventional train with refrigerated, postal and passenger wagons.

          The RT-23 UTTX missiles of the complex were capable of hitting targets at ranges up to ten thousand kilometers. Each missile was equipped with a warhead with ten warheads with a capacity of 400 kilotons each of individual guidance. The length of the rocket was 22,6 meters, and the diameter was 2,4 meters.

            The Americans were afraid of these trains only in the Soviet version. It is impossible to detect from a satellite. And now satellites are no longer needed. At the current level of corruption and open borders, information about trains and all their routes will be displayed on-line on CIA computers.

            Meanwhile,Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reversed the decision of his predecessor, Anatoly Serdyukov, to repaint all military aircraft in camouflage from shades of gray. According to the Air Force’s commander-in-chief, Izvestia was informed that from 2013 combat vehicles will be painted in the old way — in several different colors, which will be determined depending on the terrain around the air connections.

          Where did "Armata" come from? Unlike Marshal Sergeev, his successor, civil defense minister Sergei Ivanov, did not have any respect for tanks. He apparently considered that the T-95 would have too excess combat power, not needed by the Russian army. Indeed, the tank was created in the concept of confrontation between two socio-economic systems and had crushing power. It was decided to launch a new project called "Armata", within the framework of which a much lighter version of Object 195 should be built.

          Since the basis of the new machine was actually ready, the designers of Nizhny Tagil stated with confidence: by 2015 we will design, test, and be ready for serial production. The Ministry of Defense gladly shared this confidence.

          Therefore, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces confidently declares in 2012 that in 2015 the army will receive a fundamentally new tracked base, on the basis of which tanks, self-propelled guns, missile systems, etc., etc., will be mass-produced.

          I don’t know if the commander-in-chief Chirkin visited the museum of armored vehicles in Kubinka. If there were, then he should have seen how many tank samples in the metal were created and tested before the usual T-62, T-64, T-72, T-80 appeared. It took years, or even decades.

          Now, it turns out, an ideal machine is created from scratch, which will be accepted into service unambiguously - this has already been decided. True, when Soviet tank power was being created, there were no computers. Today, many design processes are significantly accelerated. But the presence of computers and digital design technologies is not a panacea for failed mistakes. Before our eyes, with deafening PR, the SukhoiSuperJet-100 was created and installed on the wing. How many were promised, how many hopes appeared, but ... Sadly, it remains to admit: "SukhoiSuperJet-100" turned out to be an absolutely failed project. And further it can be produced only with powerful administrative support and unmeasured state funding without any hope of return.

          But the Sukikh passenger airliner does not play any role in ensuring the country's defense sufficiency. But tanks play the most significant, remaining the main striking force of the Ground Forces.

          Of course, I would like to believe that the Nizhniy Tagil tank builders will perform a technical miracle: their car will not be like the first pancake, but will immediately begin to meet all the requirements laid down in the terms of reference for the "Armata". You should always hope for the best. But the life experience of all mankind says that it does not interfere with calculating the worst option.

          It is reported that by 2020 2300 units of new tanks should enter the army. If serial production begins in 2015, then 460 cars should be produced annually. Is it within the capabilities of Uralvagonzavod's tank production?

          Therefore, the statement made by the commander in chief, most likely on the occasion of the upcoming Tankers Day, which is celebrated on the second Sunday of September, should be taken calmly. There will be a tank - there will be something to talk about and something to discuss. In the meantime, wait, sir ...

            This is the right approach, but what has now become fashionable to share the skin of an unkilled bear is nothing more than an empty talking room ... It's great to discuss the performance characteristics of products that will begin to be designed in 2020 ...

            Dear Alex, you are confusing something, Ivanov ceased to be defense minister in 2007, in 2009 vol. 195 went to the state and did not pass them (IMHO wrote about this Murakhovsky, but I do not remember exactly). In 2010, the ROC was closed and the ROC "Armata" was opened. It is obvious that Armata is flesh of flesh vol. 195 only from 125 mm. tool and some reorientation of priorities. The same Murakhovsky wrote that the X-shaped diesel engine passed the test in the state and there are no questions for it, so why not the car be ready by 2015, in any case it will be tested on a full cycle, so I see no reason for doubt

            was installed on the wing of "SukhoiSuperJet-100". How many were promised, how many hopes appeared, but ... For all my sake, I don’t understand what bothers you, what was promised? The aircraft is designed, tested, put into series, certified in the ECA, for an airplane about 200 firm contracts, for an airplane about 50 firm contracts from abroad. so that you do not become obsolete ??? What is the failure? Can I have any specifics? Budget financing ceased in 2010 and amounted, according to the Accounts Chamber, to 12 billion rubles for the aircraft itself and 16 billion rubles. on the engine - it’s sorry, it doesn’t pull on frantic state funding.
            I will even agree to an administrative resource, it is clear that Aeroflot has been convincingly hinted at what they say it needs, but who forced Interjet, Sky Aviation and Lao Airlines? Well, about "without any hope of return" - this must be somehow substantiated, some kind of calculations, otherwise it’s just nothing more than emotional words.
            Well, you don’t like Surge, well, it happens, but let's still approach the issue objectively

    For all aircraft that are part of the aviation unit, numbers are marked as directed by the senior aviation chief of the garrison, subject to the following requirements:

    - numbers must be between 01 and 99;

    - the issuance of numbers for units located at one aerodrome is not carried out in accordance with the sequence, for example: one of the regiments is assigned numbers from 05 to 16 and from 43 to 72, the other from 21 to 35 and from 81 to 99;

    - within the limits of the numbers obtained, by decision of the unit commander, a number is assigned to each aircraft of the unit arbitrarily;

    If the number of aircraft of the same type at the aerodrome exceeds 100 units, the application of the same numbers on aircraft of different parts is permitted.

    - Onboard numbers for airplanes based on one aerodrome are applied with the same color (red, blue or yellow) and edged with a black stripe 10-15 mm wide.

        Equipment - complex onboard radar with HEADLIGHTS Sh141 (on the Su-32FN - "Sea Serpent", the same ROC) was developed by SKB "Zemlya" NPO "Leninets" (Leningrad, General Designer - GN Gromov). As of 2008, NPO Leninets is working on the modernization of the Sh141 radar. Tests of the prototype radar of the Morskoy Serpent ROC since 2000 have been (and are possibly underway) on the Tu-134SL / SL-134Sh / L-17-10V (re-equipped Tu-134Sh aircraft, board No. 65098, NPP Mir HK "Leninist").
        - a multifunctional radar with front view headlights B004 allows detecting targets with low EPR against the background of the earth's surface (better than the analogous American AN / APS-137 radar) at a range of 150-200 km
        - IR direction finder combined with a laser rangefinder, target designator and TV camera
        - multifunction color displays are installed in the cockpit (the pilot operator has two rectangular multifunction displays)
        - helmet-mounted sights developed by the design bureau of the Arsenal plant and the Zvezda Scientific and Production Center (chief designer A. A. Boriusyuk) are used - the Shchel-3 / Shchel-3UM / Shchel-3UM-1 families or a more advanced analogue.
        - BTSVM on the basis of the computer "Argon"

    Aviation will say goodbye to Serdyukov's dullness and sparkle with all the colors of the rainbow.

    The Air Force High Command said that the new Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, canceled the decision of Anatoly Serdyukov to paint all military aircraft in gray.

    The former head of department spied on the monochrome solution from NATO. During his reign, three variants of the gray "tinting" of Russian winged aircraft were created: dark gray, gray-blue and spotted "camouflage" of shades of gray. However, studies on the visibility of aircraft in this livery have not been carried out. The military did not like this idea.

    Sergei Shoigu ordered that from 2013, the colors traditional for the Russian Air Force be used for military aircraft. Depending on the location, the vehicles can be painted in protective green, sand, dark blue, white or "dress" in spotted camouflage.
    The new old painting will not be introduced immediately, but as soon as the paintwork has exhausted its resource, which is usually 3-4 years, Uralinformburo reports.

      4. As the state and departmental identification marks, the corresponding images and digital signs are applied to the surface of the aircraft in the places established by this Regulation.

      5. According to their purpose, the identification marks are divided into primary and secondary.

      6. The main identification mark identifies the aircraft belonging to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The main identification mark of airplanes is the FIVE-POINTED STAR of red color, bordered on the outer contour of white or aluminum color, and then the red stripes (Appendix 1).

      7. Additional identification marks determine the aircraft belonging to the corresponding organization, society or military unit (unit). Additional identification marks of aircraft are side numbers, stripes, special inscriptions (“DOSAAF”), special images (RED CROSS).

      8. By the time of validity, the identification marks are divided into permanent and temporary. Permanent identification marks include signs that are applied to the aircraft for the entire period of their flight operation. Temporary identification marks include signs that are applied to the aircraft for a specific period.

      9. All tests of airplanes in the air, including pilot and production aircraft manufactured by the Ministry of Aviation Industry for the Armed Forces of the USSR and DOSAAF of the USSR, are carried out with the basic identification mark FIVE-STAR in accordance with these Regulations.

      10. FIVE-POINT STAR identification mark is applied to military aircraft operating in the Ministry of Aviation Industry.

      11. The location of the identification marks for new types of aircraft is determined by the designer of the aircraft in accordance with the requirements of this Regulation, considered by breadboard commissions and approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force.

      12. The location and procedure for applying identification marks to unmanned aerial vehicles is the same as for aircraft.

      13. Identification marks on aircraft should be clearly visible. Identification marks should be periodically tinted to maintain appropriate color.

      14. Monitoring compliance with this Regulation is assigned to the commanders of aviation units of the USSR Armed Forces and the Chairman of the Central Committee of the USSR DOSAAF.

        II. DESCRIPTION OF UNDERSTANDING SIGNS AND THE PROCEDURE OF THEIR APPLICATION ON AIRCRAFT.

        1. The main five-pointed star identification mark is applied:

        A) for monoplane planes - on the wings from below and above, as well as from two sides on the vertical tail (appendices 2-8 and 10);

        B) for biplane aircraft - to the upper wings from above, to the lower wings from below and from two sides to the vertical tail (appendices 2 and 9);

        B) on gliders - on wings from below and above, as well as from two sides to vertical plumage (Appendix 11);

        D) for helicopters with a tail rotor - on the side walls of the cabin in its rear part and at the bottom of the cabin, on a helicopter of a pine scheme - on the tail unit (appendices 12, 13 and 14);

        D) on tethered balloons - on the sides and top of the shell (Appendix 15);

        16. When marking the FIVE-POINT STAR on the aircraft wing (above and below), the center of the star should be approximately in the middle of the chord of the wing. The distance from the center of the star to the end of the wing should be within 0,1-0,2 of the span of the wing, and the distance from the leading edge of the wing to the top of the star with the edging should be within 50-150 mm. The rays of the five-pointed star identification mark together with the edging should not go out to the aileron or slat.

        17. On the vertical empennage of an aircraft with a low horizontal empennage, a FIVE-POINTED STAR is applied in the center of the total area of the keel and rudder above the stabilizer, with a high horizontal empennage in the center of the keel below the stabilizer. On airplanes with double vertical plumage - FIVE-POINT STAR is applied on the outer sides of the vertical plumage. The star is applied to the vertical tail in such a way that its ends are at a distance of 50-150 mm from the edges of the keel fairing and rudder (Appendix 3).

        18. The FIVE-POINT STAR sign when applied to aircraft should be as large as possible. The exception is airplanes with protective coloring - camouflage, for which the star is chosen one standard size smaller than for normally painted airplanes.

        19. The following typical sizes of the five-pointed star identification mark are set: 300, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2000-2500, 2700 and 3000 mm. The width of the border depends on the size of the star and is indicated in the table:
  12. Alex 241

    26 December 2012 13: 51
    20. On tethered balloons, the FIVE-POINT STAR sign is applied without fringing. The size of the star (the diameter of the circumscribed circle) is two meters (Appendix 15).

    21. The aircraft side number is indicated by a two-digit number and is applied to the side surfaces of the fuselage or the vertical tail of the aircraft on both sides. On heavy bombers, the number is applied only to the vertical plumage above the star. On front-line bombers, the number is applied on board the fuselage and on the vertical tail above the star. For all other aircraft, the number is applied on board the fuselage: for aircraft with an elongated bow - in front of the wing, with a shortened bow - in the back of the wing (annexes 3 and 8).

    22. For all planes that are part of the aviation unit, numbers are applied as directed by the senior aviation chief of the garrison, subject to the following requirements:

    - numbers must be between 01 and 99;

    - the issuance of numbers for units located at one aerodrome is not carried out in accordance with the sequence, for example: one of the regiments is assigned numbers from 05 to 16 and from 43 to 72, the other from 21 to 35 and from 81 to 99;

    - within the limits of the numbers obtained, by decision of the unit commander, a number is assigned to each aircraft of the unit arbitrarily;

    23. The following sizes and figures are determined for the aircraft side numbers:

    A) The height of the numbers without edging: 300, 400, 600, 900, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000 mm;

    B) The width of the digits should be equal to 2/3 of their height, and the thickness of the lines making up the figure - 1/6 of their height;

    C) The numbers on board the fuselage should fit into a conditional rectangle and be applied, if possible, on the side projection of the fuselage axis in a place where they are better visible, taking into account the requirements of Art. 22 of these Regulations;

    D) The numbers of the aircraft side number on the vertical empennage of a heavy bomber should be 400 mm high, and on the vertical empennage of a front bomber, it should be 400 mm high.

    24. On airplanes of the KGB Border Troops under the Council of Ministers of the USSR, in addition to the main identification mark, the FIVE-POINT STAR and the tail number, strips of 250 mm wide are additionally applied:

    A) On airplanes - on the rudder parallel to the ribs on two sides below the star and on the elevator parallel to the spar from above and below (Appendix 9);

    B) For helicopters - on the side walls of the cabin:

    - with a tail rotor - 1500 mm long at a distance of 100-150 mm in the direction of the tail behind the five-pointed star identification mark (Appendix 12);

    - with a pine propeller - 1500 mm long at a distance of 400-450 mm in the direction of the bow from the tail boom (Appendix 13).

    Stripes of white color are applied against a dark background, red color against a light background.

    25. Additional identification marks for aircraft DOSAAF USSR are the inscription "DOSAAF" and the tail number. The inscription "DOSAAF" is applied:

    A) For airplanes and gliders - on the sides of the fuselage in front of the cockpit (Appendix 16);

    B) For helicopters - on the sides of the front of the cockpit;

    C) On tethered balloons - on the side surfaces of the shell behind the FIVE-POINT STAR sign in the direction of the rear hemisphere (Appendix 15).

      The height of the letters of the inscription "DOSAAF" is set as follows:

      - on light aircraft - 150 mm;

      - on heavy aircraft - 200 mm;

      - on balloons - 500 mm.

      The width of the letters should equal 2/3 of their height, and the thickness of the lines making up the letter - 1/6 of their height.

      26. Aircraft designed to perform tasks related to health care, and subject to the relevant international conventions, have an additional identification mark - RED CROSS. On airplanes painted in white, the RED CROSS is applied directly to the painted surface, and on airplanes painted in other colors - in a white circle of maximum dimensions. The diameter of the white circle and the dimensions of the RED CROSS are given in Appendix 1.

      27. On ambulance aircraft, the FIVE-STAR STAR main identification mark is applied on both sides to the side surface of the cabin at its rear, and the additional RED CROSS sign is placed on the side surface of the cabin in the center on both sides and under the cabin (Appendix 14).

      28. During the period of aviation exercises, to distinguish the same type of aircraft, as well as during sporting events, testing aircraft in the air and in other necessary cases, it is permitted to put temporary identification marks on aircraft. Temporary identification marks may be:

      A) On airplanes - stripes on wings above and below along ribs wide:

      - on fighters - 200 mm;

      - on front-line bombers - 300 mm;

      - on heavy bombers - 400 mm;

      - on transport aircraft - 300 mm.

      B) In helicopters - stripes along the cabin from the sides and from below with a width of 100-300 mm.

      The bands should be clearly visible and not obscured by permanent identification marks. The distance between the strips should be half the width of the stripe. Stripes against a dark background should be white, and against a dark background - dark. Temporary stripes are applied with dyes, which are easily washed off and do not spoil the aircraft paintwork.

            And there is also bitumen with a runway which is only kerosene, but if you don’t wash it off, I think the consequences are clear. I don’t know right now, the joints are also poured with bitumen or all the same they came up with something else.

                  hi I didn’t see anyone, here the deputy minister of defense sums up the results of the year: he told about 8 more airplanes. I’ve gone such a booze)))) “As part of the state defense order-2012, 32 aircraft have been delivered to date, eight more will arrive by the end of the year,” he said .

                  In addition, the Russian Helicopters holding supplied the army with 127 helicopters for various purposes. Borisov specified that the Russian Air Force will receive 2012 Sukhoi, MiG, and Yak-40 aircraft in 130. According to him, we are talking about the supply of Mi-28N and Ka-52 helicopters.

                  As part of the supply of air defense equipment, the army received 34 location stations. Deliveries of automobile equipment of the KamAZ and Ural brands were completed. The industry has fulfilled its obligations to modernize the T-72 tank and to supply Iskander tactical missile systems.

                  “Tula Design Bureau has also fulfilled all obligations regarding the supply of Pantsir-S complexes. Four sets were delivered, ”said Borisov, whose words are quoted by Interfax.

                  The nuclear submarine missile carrier "Yuri Dolgoruky" of project 955 "Borey" of the Ministry of Defense expects to put into service on December 30, as the deputy minister of defense put it "under the tree."

                      The new dual-control attack aircraft based on the Su-25 should begin to enter the army until 2020, Colonel-General Alexander Zelin, assistant secretary of defense for aviation, told reporters on Thursday.
                      "This new type of attack aircraft is included in the state armaments program and approved for equipping the Air Force. It will enter the troops by 2020," Zelin said at a briefing in Voronezh, where a conference was held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Air Force.
                      Earlier, the Ministry of Defense has already talked about the development of a new aircraft, which should begin to enter the troops just before 2020. The aircraft itself was then called "a promising attack aircraft" (PSSh).
                      He indicated that the new attack aircraft will be designed for two pilots: a navigator and an operator. “To solve problems with complex systems and weapons, you need not two eyes, but four,” Zelin said.
                      Zelin, who until recently headed the Russian Air Force, noted that, in accordance with the armament program, this aircraft will be produced with the Sukhoi Corporation jointly with the plant in Ulan-Ude, where the production of Su-25UB attack aircraft had previously been established.
                      As expected, the aircraft will be able to use the entire range of tactical weapons, will be unobtrusive, able to land on any runways, have modern communications, radar and navigation equipment.
                      A promising machine should replace the Su-25SM, which, in turn, was the result of a deep modernization of the Su-25. Su-25SM from a standard machine is distinguished by a much wider range of weapons. The modernization concerned the communication complexes of the radar equipment and the sighting and navigation complex.
                      As reported in February, over 30 Su-25 attack aircraft were modernized in parts of the Russian Air Force, and it is planned to modernize about 2020 of these combat vehicles by 80.

                        It’s interesting - will he keep his name Su-25, with a set of letters, or will he gain a previously (long ago) voiced Su-39?

                        Great plane !!! Withstand and not that! Competent design, quality production, professional operation and service! Therefore, "restart" is announced. In fact, in the glider, such competent decisions are incorporated and modified in the process of combat use that the survivability of the machine is amazing! Indeed "Rook", albeit with a damaged wing, but I'll fly home!

                        Thanks to Aleksey for the link, but he started digging, remembering how he chose the plant for the mass production of the Su-25, and as a result, the series was launched in Tbilissi. A long story .... And about the resumption of production came across the link http://bastion-karpenko.narod.ru/VVT/Su-25UBM.html

    And one more thing is being looked through. All major real production is gradually moving away from the center for more than a thousand kilometers. Is it good or bad I don’t know? I think so. which is more pluses. What’s the reason? I think that the enterprises of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Novosibirsk, Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk ... still managed to maintain their production potential and begin the revival. And those close to Moscow (I do not want to use the word center as self-discrediting), under the raider (in Russian banditry) influence, are systematically turning into shopping centers (Saratov-Ikea). Perhaps this is evolution? Have something to think about?

    Good news! But the coin has a flip side: the social network (medicine, education, ..) has already been reduced by an average of 10%, excluding inflation. Another time bomb is inflation itself. When investing in arms production, after some time the workers will have nothing to spend money, as a result of a significant increase in prices, depreciation of wages, etc.
    I express myself of course illiterate, but I think that this is so.
    In short, if we want to keep our heads high, then mother will have to dig in. Do not Cry!
