So, millions of Russians were announced at one time that Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, it turned out, had a whole female regiment, which by hook or by crook filled its pockets with taxpayers' money, then reselling property of the department to affiliated offices, then overpricing the prices of goods for the needs of servicemen, just putting hundreds of millions on some suspicious accounts. Millions of Russians, naturally, vividly reacted to such acute information, which led to a huge public response. A wave of popular anger grew and turned into a real ninth wave, which the painter Aivazovsky once painted on a famous canvas.

True, we already waited for one result: representatives of the investigation unexpectedly (well, or expectedly) announced that: yes - corruption took place, money, excuse me, tyrili, “bruliki” were bought, real estate went away incomprehensibly and incomprehensibly at what prices, but Only Anatoly Eduardovich Serdyukov, while many suspect in vain. It was announced that the shura-mura, it turned out, was staged behind him, not devoting his boss to the intricacies of the army's financial "modernization".

But if such an assumption is taken as a basis, then immediately it faces a serious test of strength. This test consists in the readiness of such a person as the accused in the Oboronservis case, Dmitry Mityaev (head of the legal department of MIRA LLC) to testify against Anatoly Serdyukov. Mr Mityaev reported on his readiness, however, after the investigating authorities informed the Russians about the infallibility of the defense minister. Mityaev, according to a number of MediaHe promised to talk about how the ex-minister personally handled the supervision of real estate transactions of the Ministry of Defense, and therefore was well aware of the schemes by which Oboronservis and its numerous substructures worked. But ... This “but” is that Mityaev was “late”, well, or that the investigators “hurried”. Somehow, the investigators did not agree with Mityaev on the question of when he would be allowed to confess. As a result, the statements of the investigators that Serdyukov is not guilty, and Dmitry Mityaev's “frank”, missed each other for a few days. But what is the gap between these statements ...
And now tell me, what will the investigating authorities do now? Why, even a man with two heads doesn’t realize what to do with this Mityaev and all the other “tongues” in such a situation! And since among the investigators working on the case, there are only single-headed employees, then the situation in general turns into a dead-end. Indeed, in the current conditions, it is necessary to recognize either that the ex-minister was quick to announce that the ex-minister was not innocent, or that Mr. Mityaev did not quite correctly assess the role of Anatoly Eduardovich in the implementation of the Oboronservis programs and structures controlled by that. Apparently, the second path for the SC looks more appropriate. But only this path is capable of stirring up the public rethinking the situation with a new force. Although we will not make a sacred cow out of the public, if only because we have her waving, it does not always lead to an increase in the pace of work of competent persons in the right and prompting direction.
