German press: German authorities refute information about the alleged decision to send Taurus missiles to Kyiv

The German government does not intend to transfer Taurus air-launched cruise missiles to Ukraine, reports of some German media about the alleged decision taken are unreliable. Bild writes about this, citing its own source in the German cabinet.

According to the German newspaper, the German authorities are not yet ready to transfer cruise missiles to Ukraine, all statements to the contrary are speculation. The refusal to transfer missiles was confirmed both in the office of the Federal Chancellor and in the Ministry of Defense of Germany. They both stated that they had not taken any decision on this issue and did not intend to take it in the near future.

Currently, no preparations are underway for a decision on this matter (...) Regarding the current state of affairs regarding the transfer of Taurus to Ukraine, no changes have occurred. No political decision to transfer

- the newspaper quotes representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Defense of Germany.

Earlier, for several days, the German press claimed that the decision on the missiles for Zelensky had already been made, they would be transferred in the near future. It has already come to the point that information has appeared about the alleged intention of the Germans to put some kind of limiters on the missiles so that they could not strike at the territory of Russia. After that, they were already indignant in Kyiv, they say, we want to hit the Crimean bridge with German missiles, so no limiters are needed.

It is worth noting that Zelensky and his entourage have long wanted to get German Taurus or some similar missiles with a range of over 500 km in order to freely strike at the Crimea and the Crimean bridge. In Kyiv, they openly say that they intend to destroy the bridge and thereby cut off the peninsula from the mainland. In addition, the range of these missiles makes it possible to strike at the deep rear of the Russian army.

We don’t need all of Germany, but the island of Rügen would not hurt. And for the islands to start the United States a third world war? Crimea was taken away, is there a third world sizzling one? And it’s convenient to control NATO from there. Scholz should pay for helping the Nazis.

A very dangerous thing - you can launch from ground and ship launchers and even from a truck. Combat aircraft are not needed - they can be dropped from transport aircraft. Theoretically, they can be launched from railway platforms. That is, strikes against the rear of the RF Armed Forces are inevitable. And, most likely, with cluster warheads that scatter homing ammunition.

Well, since the swing "let's not give it" has begun, it means they are already preparing rockets for transportation to Ukraine. It would be better to send them there on their own.

So they are already on the outskirts.
The text of your comment is too short and in the opinion of the site administration does not carry useful information.

These missiles are produced in Sweden, too, sort of.
Probably, in terms of the beam holder and interface compatibility, they are unified with the British and French counterparts that are already in Ukraine.

And how many such missiles are in NATO countries - there is no exact information.
But no less than 2-3 thousand have accumulated over 20 years.
Now they are being written off - the main carriers are being removed from service, and the F-35 cannot carry such European missiles.

In general, the Europeans will empty their arsenals, and the US military-industrial complex will receive orders for the AGM-158B.

The supply of weapons by Germany is the "litmus test" that allows you to answer the question of who blew up the Nord Stream. It was definitely not Ukraine that did this, but Germany itself as a result of internal protests caused by a general decline in the standard of living of Germans. Support for sanctions came first.
