The West is in no hurry to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighters, according to the latest data, Kyiv will receive the aircraft only after Ukrainian pilots have been trained to fly them, and it is delayed. All this is very annoying to the Kiev leadership, which has made another bet on combat Aviation. Against this background, the Czech Republic supplied the F-16 simulator to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the eve of Ukraine, solemn events were held in honor of the day of the Air Force of Ukraine, Zelensky also took part in them, he even climbed into the cockpit of a Su-24 front-line bomber, where he posed smartly for the Ukrainian and foreign press. But the main event of the holiday was the transfer by the Czech Republic of a simulator for training Ukrainian pilots to fly the American F-16 fighter.
According to the office of the President of Ukraine, Zelensky personally tested the simulator and even managed to "hit the target" in a virtual battle, which was the Russian T-95 strategic bomber.
The President was also shown the operation of a simulator transferred to Ukraine by the Czech Republic to train pilots to work on western-style F-16 aircraft (...) Volodymyr Zelensky tested the operation of the complex in practice and hit one of the virtual targets - Tu-95
- says the website of the office of the president.
Zelensky was also presented with a flight helmet as a symbol of faith that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will soon receive American F-16 fighters, which should radically change the situation on the battlefield. As emphasized in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, air defense is the shield of Ukraine, and combat aviation is the sword. With the receipt of American aircraft, this very "sword" will become even "sharper".
