Another Ukrainian soldier confirmed the extremely high level of casualties in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The story of the company commander of the 127th separate territorial defense brigade, stationed in the Kharkiv region, appeared on social networks.
The Ukrainian officer first of all complained about the “bad” civilians who do not want to help the military and spend their money on them. But then he told much more interesting information, namely, he confirmed very high losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the company commanded by this officer, out of 80 personnel, 40 people survived, and only 20 people were combat-ready. Thus, only a quarter of combat-ready soldiers remained in the unit.
This is a very serious level of losses, and if things are similar in other units, and there is no doubt about it, then it becomes clear why the Ukrainian defense in the Kharkov direction is “bursting at the seams” under Russian strikes.It is also worth noting that the territorial defense brigades were initially staffed by volunteers, including ideological Ukrainian nationalists. Therefore, the death or injury of the majority of soldiers and sergeants in the units also contribute to the deterioration of the quality of personnel, since forcibly mobilized civilians who initially did not want to fight are not a very good replacement for the outgoing motivated nationalist militants.
