A new sniper rifle is entering serial production, we are talking about the self-loading rifle "Zveroboy", developed by Lobaev Arms. As the head of the company Vladislav Lobaev stated, weapon will be produced in two calibers: 375 (9,5x72 mm) and 408 Cheytac (10,3x77 mm).

"Zveroboy" was developed by the company earlier, serial production was planned for a later date, but the decision was changed, apparently at the request of snipers participating in the special operation. The rifle allows hitting targets at a distance of over two kilometers. Also, the shift in the production dates of the weapon was influenced by the launch of the domestic Cheytac caliber cartridge, developed by Lobaev Arms and serially produced from Russian components.

I was not too lazy to scroll through all the comments to the end, so much blah blah that you even wonder. Although, knowing our realities, I understand that it is NOT POSSIBLE for an ordinary person to create a private company for the production of high-precision rifled weapons in Russia.
I don’t even touch on the issue of any kind of licenses and other permissions, everyone understands everything - RUSSIA. I don’t talk about the ears of the office that stick out behind this project and other things either. But what surprises me is that Labaev and his brother, in addition to organizing a company and a production base for this kind of technology (including the production of cartridges, cartridge cases, gunpowder), without exaggeration of the world level, bring it to the end and go further and further. But no matter what anyone says, there has never been such a production in our country, including a complete technological line from a cartridge case to a rifle (and they are already talking about optics and even an autonomous sniper complex). Those who were involved in the organization of production and its management will understand the scale of the work done.
