The Russian company launches a new self-loading sniper rifle "St. John's wort" into mass production
A new sniper rifle is entering serial production, we are talking about the self-loading rifle "Zveroboy", developed by Lobaev Arms. As the head of the company Vladislav Lobaev stated, weapon will be produced in two calibers: 375 (9,5x72 mm) and 408 Cheytac (10,3x77 mm).
"Zveroboy" was developed by the company earlier, serial production was planned for a later date, but the decision was changed, apparently at the request of snipers participating in the special operation. The rifle allows hitting targets at a distance of over two kilometers. Also, the shift in the production dates of the weapon was influenced by the launch of the domestic Cheytac caliber cartridge, developed by Lobaev Arms and serially produced from Russian components.

The name of the new sniper rifle "St. John's Wort" was chosen by popular vote in social networks. This option received the most votes.
Earlier it was reported that Lobaev Arms not only develops and produces sniper weapons, but also conducts systematic work on import substitution of foreign ammunition, creating its own line of cartridges.
