Holding "Aviation equipment ”has completed testing of innovative take-off and landing devices, an emergency oxygen system and components for fuel, hydraulic and air systems that can be installed on promising Russian aircraft, Ka-62, Mi-38 helicopters and other machines.

As part of the federal target program “Development of Russian civil aviation technology on 2002 - 2010 years and for the period up to 2015”, the holding “Aviation equipment”, which is part of “Rostechnologies”, completed tests of 20 innovative developments.

“I can say with confidence that the characteristics of these developments fully correspond to their foreign counterparts - this is why we plan to cooperate on a number of projects with such giants of aircraft and helicopter construction as the United Aircraft Corporation and the Russian Helicopters holding,” the holding’s general director said “Aviation equipment” Maxim Kuzyuk.

For the first time in domestic practice, an oxygen system of a passenger aircraft with digital control of all its units was created. This system can be used in promising developments of civil aviation technology and transport aircraft An-70 and MTS. In addition, the system can be installed on the latest Russian helicopters, such as the average multipurpose Ka-62 and transport and passenger Mi-38.

The leading specialists of NPP Respirator, who developed the system, will tell about all the advantages of the new oxygen system at the conference, which, according to the company's general director Alexander Bryzgalin, will be held in mid-December.

"Innovative solutions significantly increase the versatility of the system, simplify the system modification, control and self-control procedures, reduce the complexity of maintenance work," Bryzgalin noted.

In turn, for the creation of take-off and landing devices, the Aviaagregat developer has introduced innovative solutions in several areas, including the use of polymeric structural materials and technologies for their processing in the manufacture of individual chassis parts; the development of advanced technologies in the organization of the production of basic parts - racks of chassis made of titanium alloys.

dual-purpose products of the Aviation Equipment holding, if development works only for civilians (civil aviation and helicopter engineering) it will be a very big deal, and if it goes to the military it will be full of chocolate :)

It is not necessary to look, but to believe at least.

We must clearly look and give ourselves an account of what is cooler or not. It is better to underestimate the technique and refine it a little than to sit back and ring "we have the coolest thing, what else is there to refine" or "why invest here, if we are already cool"

Here the director general writes that a conference in mid-December will be where it will talk about the creation and advantages of the new oxygen system, show it on TV, as well as many other developments that are now being conducted along the lines of military and civil aviation. And then some clowns make faces on the screens, but the funeral of the artists shows!

It’s good that they correspond to their Western counterparts, badly that they do not surpass. Until they begin to produce, Western counterparts will be further.

      A little off topic: RBC | 08: 38: 33

Work on the Russian aircraft project GELA (hypersonic experimental aircraft), which was carried out in Dubna near Moscow by the Raduga machine-building design bureau (MKB), has been suspended until at least 2014. This was announced by a representative of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute.
According to an employee of the institute, some technical problems could not be solved - the device cannot develop hypersonic speed. The IBC also added that the GELA project has not been relevant for ten years.

The creation of a controlled hypersonic aircraft is one of the tasks that Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, in charge of the defense-industrial complex, identified as important tasks. In September 2012, he announced the creation of a "superholding" to build a hypersonic vehicle.
      Does anyone know more specifically?

Airbus could not land in Krasnoyarsk
due to the temperature of -41 degrees Celsius (he can land up to -40 degrees Celsius).
Well, why the heck are we such aircraft that can not be operated in our climate.
