Prime Minister of Latvia announced the transfer of all combat helicopters of the country to Ukraine

All combat helicopters at the disposal of Latvia will be handed over to Ukraine in the near future. This was stated by Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins at a conference on the "restoration" of Ukraine in London.

As Karins noted, the last helicopters are already being prepared for shipment to the territory of Ukraine. The Latvian Prime Minister stressed that Riga spent more than 1,3% of GDP on various types of assistance to Ukraine, including more than 1% of GDP - exclusively on military assistance.

For Latvia itself and its people, such revelations by the Prime Minister are hardly good news. news. Latvia is not such a rich and prosperous country to invest such colossal funds in military assistance to a completely foreign state. However, now Latvia is the same "outpost" of the collective West, which is under its external control, like Ukraine. Therefore, the authorities of Latvia are concerned only with how they will look in the eyes of the "bosses" from the US and Great Britain, and not with the well-being of the population of their country.

Recall that at the disposal of the Latvian armed forces were several Soviet-made helicopters, including the Mi-17 and Mi-2. In November 2018, Latvia ordered four American UH-60M helicopters and received the first two helicopters in December 2022.

Ukraine is currently experiencing a large deficit in aviation, which is one of the main problems of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they say in Kyiv. But it is unlikely that the supply of several helicopters from countries such as Latvia can change the current situation.

In fact, officially there are ten of them.
      - Sikorsky UH-60 - 4 pcs
      - Mi-17 - 4 pieces
      - Mi-2 - 2 pieces
True, how many of them are serviceable - this data is secret.
But the Americans have already promised them to supply 4 more Sikorsky pieces, and the same junk that they were going to give to Ukraine

Their powerful "helps" have been entertaining people on YouTube for 10 years, just type in "Military parade in Latvia" into the search and you can sit neighing over rubber boats and garbage cans:

And what will they be left with?
And, yes, NATO will protect them, however, NATO is also giving the last tanks to the "defenders of LGBT and European values". Fight, and on TV they will look at lovers of lace panties ...

Latvia will give Kyiv all five helicopters in service. “We have a fleet of helicopters, all these helicopters – the latter are now being repainted to be usable and look good – we are sending to Ukraine,” said the head of the government of the Baltic republic...
they are trying - even repainted ... crying

And their technical condition is described on the Internet? Well, at least the years of release are mentioned wink I think their equipment is generally a terrible secret ... So as not to be laughed at. And that deuce that was banged against a tree in '95 is also passed to the heap lol

For some reason, my "starter" always instantly failed, and the "device" itself ended its life after several test launches from the balcony of the 8th floor - with a "combat load", with a braking parachute, with a "crew" made of plasticine - in general , with everything that the fantasy of a 5-8-year-old "Latvian pilot" is capable of.
I killed eight or ten pieces - despite the frail "starter", he asked his father to buy such equipment. Each time I hoped that this one would definitely stand all the tests.
            Nevermind...

All combat helicopters at the disposal of Latvia will soon be transferred to Ukraine ... the last helicopters are already being prepared for dispatch
Judging by the text, “all” and “the last” are synonyms in the Latvian language. Which reminds me of a joke:
    - Here we will put artillery, here we will have infantry, and here we will launch tanks.
    - What all?!
    - Yes, both.
But there will be no aviation, because ̶e̶ё̶ ̶o̶t̶p̶r̶a̶v̶i̶l̶i̶ ̶v̶n̶a̶ ̶U̶k̶r̶a̶... because the pilot got sick.

You can even arm the An-2 (the Latvians have a couple of pieces), but will it make sense if there is little air defense on the adjacent side ...
The Poles used them purely in the border guard to patrol the borders ...

It seems to me that NATO just started a massive rearmament. All their vaunted prodigy waffles fail, so, like it or not, you have to make new waffles. So they send, whatever they get, to the square. And the face of the face will be saved before the sovereign, and almost free disposal. You look, and something newer will be adjusted for free. And we have good scrap metal.
