According to Jane's Missiles & Rockets, the Belarusian enterprise "Tetraedr" on October 4-7 this year held demonstration firing of the Stilet air defense missile system.

The shooting took place at the Air Force training ground.Defense Belarus in Domanovo. The T381 combat vehicle of the Stiletto air defense missile system launched anti-aircraft missiles missiles 9M33M3, which are part of the Osa-AKM SAM system, of which the Stiletto SAM system is a deep modernization. The newest two-stage T382 SAMs developed by the Ukrainian Luch Design Bureau are not yet ready. Their launches are planned only for mid-2012.

During the demonstration firing were simulated air targets ITC-М1, which are also developed in the "Tetrahedron."

The Belarusians are great! Damn commerce is complete. You can't make candy out of junk. It is necessary to change the guidance method, missile, SSTS, remove the combat crew from under the transmitters. Add easy booking. The troops do not need such a chassis. Barrels of machine guns for completing targets on the near border of the affected area would not hurt the same. The maximum for that is good enough to cover the airfield or battalion on the march on the asphalt. This shed is sniffed by the Chinese or Vietnamese. The old Osa had a lot of shortcomings, such as weak noise immunity, a crappy chassis with low traffic, one target channel, the absence of an automated control center with a command post, and crappy communication. Well, at least a thermal imager with a rangefinder was installed and then thank God. Everything else remains. It's a shame. The face of capitalism, nothing but the weaning of surplus value has not been created in 20 years. But the Tula Design Bureau will have to drop the price for the "shell", although in fact their product is not much better.

Well, this is not a chassis for military air defense, there is a caterpillar track needed.

Well, yes, taking into account the fact that they weren’t equipped with wasp systems, the chassis they needed was more passable, better tracked or at least 400-axle.

Honestly, that KB Luch is engaged in the development of anti-aircraft missiles - nowhere have I been able to see confirmation. Neither on their website, nor at exhibitions. Anti-tank - the full range (though until now, in fact, Combat, Barrier and Stugna are ready). And not a word about anti-aircraft.

I heard about the replacement for the first time a month and a half ago, when the Belarusians demonstrated the Stiletto.
In addition to anti-tank, they also have air-to-air and air-to-ground.
