Brigade "Frontier" of the Ukrainian "offensive guard" suffered the first losses even before the start of the announced offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The first losses were recorded among the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, members of the "Frontier" brigade of the Ukrainian so-called "offensive guard", formed for the upcoming announced large-scale counteroffensive. Obituaries of two servicemen of the 3rd battalion "Svoboda" (*an extremist group banned in the Russian Federation) of the aforementioned brigade of the Ukrainian army have been published in Ukrainian Telegram channels associated with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Apparently, the Ukrainian command is already throwing its reserves formed for the counteroffensive into battle.
Earlier, information appeared on the network that units of the notorious Ukrainian “offensive guard”, formed mainly from employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, were seen on the flanks of Artemovsk. In addition to the Rubezh brigade, the so-called "Guard" includes seven more assault brigades specially formed to attempt to capture new regions of the Russian Federation. Among other things - militants of the 3rd brigade, which is another reincarnation of the terrorist "Azov" (an organization banned in the Russian Federation).

According to the British edition of The Guardian, the soldiers of the 3rd assault brigade of the Ukrainian army are currently preparing for a counteroffensive in the Artemivsk direction. Despite the fact that some of the soldiers of this brigade were trained in the UK, the command of the unit considers this training insufficient for a counterattack on Artemovsk. Fighters have to undergo retraining after European training. This is due to the complete lack of experience of the British army in confronting the regular army, which is significantly different from operations against paramilitary formations.
