We think to start with two small excursions to history. On March 2, a group of armed people from the territory of Ukraine entered the villages of Sushany and Lyubechany in the Bryansk region. The usual "PR campaign", it was possible not to shoot at anyone, there was no real need for this.
Responsibility for this was taken by the "Russian Volunteer Corps", three dozen clowns, who seem to be fighting on the side of Ukraine.
In fact, they went in, arranged a selfie session against the backdrop of the mail and quickly hit the road until those who can really hang on the faces jumped up. Still, shaking machine guns in front of absolutely unarmed villagers is one thing, and even conscripts from the Russian army are quite another.
However, this action showed that the castle, on which our border should be, is either rusty or sawn in half near the arch. It doesn't matter, the main thing is that it doesn't hold. And already on April 26 (the music didn’t play for long, so to speak), our chief defense officer in the Duma, Mr. Kartapolov, gave a simply wonderful interview in which he said that the citizens themselves should defend the border.
“Unfortunately, we now do not have such opportunities as in the Soviet Union, when the entire country along the perimeter was guarded by military units of the border troops of the USSR. Therefore, now there are somewhat different ways of protecting borders. But to involve the local population on a voluntary basis, in my opinion, this is quite realistic and understandable. This is practiced in many countries."

Recent events have shown this to be the case. The border service of the FSB of Russia could not do anything with those who entered the territory of the Belgorod region for several reasons, the main of which is the complete lack of information about what is happening a kilometer on the other side of the border.
And in the form in which it exists, the PS of the FSB of the Russian Federation simply cannot guard and defend the border. She does not have the strength and opportunity for this, but we will talk about this in the continuation of this article. The border service is completely likened to customs, only it does not deal with cargo and luggage, but with documents.

The subtlety is that legally Russia is not at war with Ukraine. NWO is not a war, it is, as they say today, something else. And it means that the border continues to be covered by border units, which, according to all Charters and norms, should stand on the border only in peacetime. But since there is no war, it is the border guards who are standing, not the army.
And just the attack of saboteurs can be repelled by the border guards, for this they are being trained. And when a battalion breaks across the border with tanks with the support of artillery - sorry, what are the expectations from the border guards, who do not even have anti-tank grenade launchers?
The army also does not make claims, the army, it reacts. And of course, the military is simply not trained in the work that was the norm for Soviet border guards. There will be a breakthrough - there will be a reaction. Days in our case reacted.
Protect the border with the forces of local residents ... Territorial defense, border militia, or whatever else you can call it. Quite a possible option. Like mercenaries and volunteers instead of the regular army.
However, this territorial defense, in order for it to be able to defend at least something, needs to be equipped, equipped, armed and trained. Otherwise, this is not territorial defense, but live targets.
Yes, back in 2022, Secretary of the United Russia General Council Andrey Turchak proposed to Russian President Vladimir Putin to give the fighters of the territorial defense of voluntary people's squads the right to wear weapons. But…

A very important question: against whom will this Teroborona act?
And immediately put aside the frank agitation of the notorious RDK, the "Russian volunteer corps." Corps is too big a name for such a formation. We know that on the other side there are those who want to fight for Ukraine against Russia from among the citizens of the former USSR / CIS, and in no case do we dispute their existence. However, we will not talk about "corps" and "legions". Simply because, on the basis of the materials studied, they simultaneously came to the conclusion that the so-called RDK is a structure in terms of numbers approximately equal to a platoon and nothing more. And even fewer people were shown on cameras.
However, the RDK is an excellent screen behind which anyone can work, without any embarrassment in funds. And, judging by the way it is happening now in the Belgorod region, it’s not at all oppositionists from among Putin’s Russian opponents who have entered there. There are quite normal servicemen there, most likely from among the forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
There are no fools sitting in the USA, we have been hammering this for a long time. And they teach their Padawans from the Armed Forces of Ukraine firmly and reliably. It's just the way they're supposed to be: to drive everything into your head so that everything ricochets without a helmet. We tried it in the Bryansk region - it worked. We realized that it is possible to work this way, which means that it is necessary.
By the way, the corpses that were then left after the clash were never identified, which made it possible for the Ukrainian side to say that they were Russian collaborators. This means that Russia's internal affair, and they have nothing to do with it at all.
And here is exactly the same scenario, on the frames of the content that Ukrainians drive almost live, run and ride several scumbags already familiar from the Bryansk region. The remaining 390 people prefer to do their job "not sticking out."
But they do it loudly. The fact that visitors are hung with cameras and transmitting information almost in the live reporting mode allows them to complete their main task. And what is the main task of the Ukrainian command? That's right, level the loss of Bakhmut.
So, this task is not only completed, it is over-fulfilled with a vengeance. The Ukrainian news segment is simply filled with reports from the Belgorod region, and Bakhmut is no longer felt so brightly. Moreover, for the last six months, it was already clear that he could not be kept. Let's just say that in Ukraine everyone has gradually got used to the fact that Bakhmut will have to be left. And here's your counterattack.
After all, it is clear that those who enter Russian territory will not stay there for a long time. No need. While the units of the same 3rd Motor Rifle Division remaining in the PPD are trying to knock them out, they will pretend that they are violently resisting, and as soon as they smell of fried food, they will withdraw and leave. Having inflicted as much damage as possible on the enemy, of course, but the damage that they caused in terms of information, it will be disproportionately greater.
The eternal question: who is to blame and what to do?
Here it is already worth talking about Teroborone, the militia, partisan detachments and everything else.
We have the defense, but we don't have it. Yes, there is a Decree of the President of Russia dated October 19, 2022, and much is written in it, except for one. About the armament of Teroborona. Not a word, not half a word. Responsibilities, job opportunities, a lot of things. But who will give the Teroborona fighters weapons, in what quantities and qualities - nothing.
One could cite Ukraine as an example. Yes, at one time our media and bloggers had plenty of fun the news on the topic of handing out weapons from cars in Kyiv. And that now, from tomorrow, an unprecedented rampage of terrorism and crime will begin, Kyiv will choke in obscurantism, and so on.
However, today we can state the fact that, yes, there was a surge in criminal events in Ukraine, but far from the one predicted by Russian experts. But a decent number of brigades were formed, which took the main blow, including in Mariupol and Bakhmut. And then, somehow, the differences between the Teroboronov fighters and the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were erased.
As for crime, there was a case, a certain amount of weapons fell into criminal structures. But in any case, it is incomparable with the numbers that have flowed from the ATO zone all these years. Remember, the information that another ATO veteran staged a fire show with the help of a removed grenade did not surprise anyone?
That is, the Ukrainian government took a very controversial step: it entrusted weapons to its people. How correct this step turned out to be, we will not discuss now, since our tasks are somewhat different.
We have Territorial Defense on paper. That is, headquarters have been created in a bunch of regions, commanders have been appointed who receive salaries, but there are no units themselves! The Republic of Mari El, Khabarovsk Territory, Chukotka, Tver Region are the leaders in the "organization" of Teroborona. Of course, it is very important for these regions to create such subdivisions, they are so close to the NWO zone…
And the units, if they are created, what's the point in them? They created it in the Belgorod region, so what? With what did the TO fighters have to meet these "saboteurs" on tanks and armored personnel carriers? With pitchforks and shovels?
Without weapons, everything looks absolutely meaningless.
A year ago, it would have been possible to take the mines of Soledar and extract the same SKS and PPS-43 from them, it would have been enough if there were not enough AKs. But today it's too late, as everyone was convinced, the "saboteurs" move quite normally on tanks and armored vehicles. And for this, the shooter is frankly not enough.
And even today, the stories of border guards have already been posted in the “telegram”, who could not oppose anything to the tanks and armored personnel carriers of the enemy. They didn't even have grenade launchers...
The picture is just like that. 10 billion rubles were spent on the creation of a certain line of defense, which cannot protect or defend anything, because the enemy is not a fool. Using intelligence and copter data, he traveled along completely unguarded roads to where he needed to go.
Block post? Yes, the one from the insanely hot summer of 2014? Where were the militias, armed with something, but - armed! No, apparently, this is simply unattainable in our realities.
And it should be. There should be not only commanders and headquarters of fictitious subunits, there should be subunits themselves. Not only armed and equipped, but also trained, under the command of sane commanders. And then it will really be a defense that you can count on.
But things don't look so rosy here. Here is a regular on Vladimir Solovyov's talk show, Sergei Karnaukhov, who is already saying that since we have not created a buffer zone on Ukrainian territory, we must ... create it on our own! That is, in addition to residents of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, tens of thousands more residents of the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod and Voronezh regions should lose their homes.
Which, by the way, are already ready to fight for their land, if they are given such an opportunity.
These are not the most pleasant times for some citizens of our country. And, if the state is not able to protect them, to defend the borders of the country, then there, in Moscow, the relevant persons required finally think about what is happening and make decisions about trusting your people. Or justify the trust of their people who elected them and fulfill their duty to the citizens of the Russian Federation in accordance with the articles of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
