Series of raid minesweepers "Sapphire" project 10750
The main purpose of RT "Sapphire" - mine protection, search, trawling and destruction of mines in coastal areas, in areas of naval bases, dispersed basing at depths of no more than 80 meters.
Device and design of RT "Sapphire"
In the manufacture of the hull of the ship were used new solutions of fiberglass, which ultimately led to a decrease in displacement and magnetic field (important for their own protection when working with hydrodynamic mines at shallow depth). Solutions were also applied that reduced the intensity of the physical field of the new ship, used low-magnetic steel type SW to create the bearing parts of the hull and mechanisms, the lines of force were made in special insulation. Hatches, doors, fences, gangways and fenders were made of aluminum and magnesium alloys.
The upper deck of the RT "Sapphire" was made straight with the hull nasal hull with a bulwark almost to the superstructure. The superstructure itself has smooth contours, a navigation bridge, a ventilation enclosure, a triangular mast, a control post for seekers and trawls, large panoramic windows (a wheelhouse), which provided a large viewing angle both on the course and on the traverse.
Eight compartments separated by watertight bulkheads ensured the durability and floodability of the raid minesweeper:
- compartment with chain box, forepeak;
- compartment of modular;
- compartment with cockpit on 12 sailors, with two tanks for fresh water, zip and POU;
- a compartment with cabins of the commander and junior commanders, two vestibules, a galley, waste tanks and an air-conditioning room;
- engine compartment (bow compartment);
- engine compartment (aft compartment) with two fuel tanks;
- compartment trawls, fencing MANPADS and one tank with fresh water;
- compartment of the tiller compartment.
Compared with the project 1258, the crew is reduced. This was achieved by technological means - automation and remote control of technical means of the ship. With the GKP automation system, the control of the technical equipment of the ship is provided. In addition to the air conditioning system, protection against mass destruction weapons was established.
The degaussing of the ship consists of a full-fledged system with automatic regulation, which included: the main horizontal winding; battox exchange rate winding; ring course winding, both general ship and local execution. The sweeping technical equipment consisted of a sweeper winch, a swinging overhead crane, a hydraulically driven mooring spire. Steering - hydraulic steering gear, semi-balance steering wheel. The steering control is a simplified system with tracking and automatic control mode. Power - three-shaft, mechanical with three diesel engines of the four-stroke type ZD-12 with a direct fuel injection system, with a total power of 1200 hp The 3 diesel transmitted power to the 3 propeller using reverse gear units. Warranty life of diesel engines - 4.5 thousands of hours. Overhaul - 14 thousands of hours. The weight of a diesel 2.1 tons. Management - automatic remote. The power grid is an alternating current 380В, produced by 3 diesel generators, with a total power of 150 kW. In emergency situations, 12B emergency lighting from rechargeable batteries is used.
Armament RT "Sapphire":
- six-barreled artillery 30mm installation AK-306М. It is installed on the tank. Rate of fire to 5000 high / min. The horizon / vertical pointing angles are 180 / -12 + 88 degrees. Defeat range to 8 kilometers. Food tape, round shop with 2 000 shots. AK-306M control - XDUMX-219 Speaker system;
- MANPADS "Strela-3". Ammunition eight sets. Speed 9K34 - 670 m / s. The range of destruction - 0.5-4.5 kilometers horizontally, in height - 0.015-3 kilometers on targets with a speed of no more than 310 m / s. Control - passive IR GOS. Weight - 16 kilogram;
- contact deep-sea trawl GKT-3MO (set). The main purpose is the trawling of anchor type mines. The trailing trawl can operate at a depth of 5-120 meters and a width of up to 130 meters with a cruising speed of up to 12 nodes and a rough sea no more than 5 points. The trawl consists of: towing cable, 1-2 standard hydrodynamic MT-3, 2 parts of the trawl and 2 diverter. All elements of the trawl are made of low-magnetic alloys. Trawling range from ship to 180 meters;
- electromagnetic solenoid trawl SAMT-1. The main purpose against induction and magnetic bottom min. The principle of operation is the impact on the mines by a magnetic field. The trawling width is 65 meters, the depth is no more than 30 meters at the speed of the ship 8 knots and waves of the sea to 4 points. Trawling distance from the ship 150-180 meters;
- acoustic trawl AT-6. The main purpose against the combined and acoustic min. The principle of operation is acoustic radiation;
- seeker-destructive complex KIU-2M. The main purpose is the search, detection and destruction of mines and explosive objects located along the course. It consists of GAS MG-99А1 "Kabarga-А1", TV-driven STIU-2 "Ketmen";
- cord charges, 2 units, in 200 meters. Purpose - the destruction of bottom, bottom mines. Depth of action - 5-100 meters at a speed of 6 knots;
Equipment
The equipment includes the Mius navigation radar and the Brass radio navigation system. Mius station operates in the range of centimeter waves. Power up to 7kW. Detection characteristics: ship up to 10 miles, marine buoy type objects up to 2 miles. Limited to 30 meter area around the ship.
