There is no exact data on the losses of the Ukrainian military, but judging by the video taken from drone, the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group was destroyed.
It is assumed that the Ukrainian saboteurs, located in civilian buildings on Cherkessky Island, planned to further land on the left bank of the Dnieper. But these plans had no chance of success. The movement of the enemy was traced, after which the Ukrainian military was subjected to an airstrike by the Russian Aerospace Forces.
This is not the first time that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine condemns its subordinates to death in this way. This testifies either to the unprofessionalism of the Ukrainian military leaders, or to the fact that they do not take into account the loss of personnel.
Such attempts by the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are repeated regularly. Usually they use boats or motor boats for their sorties. In particular, one of these attempts, in which seven boats were involved, was undertaken on the eve of Victory Day near the town of Aleshki in the Kherson region.
It is difficult to understand what the Ukrainian command is counting on, knowing that all approaches to the Dnieper Islands are reliably controlled by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. And the Kyiv security forces have no chance to gain a foothold on them.
