Air Force received another batch of Yak-130 and a new simulator
“Today, December 4, 2012, the pilots of the Borisoglebsk training aviation Air Force bases carried out the next batch of Yak-130 combat training aircraft transferred from the Irkut Corporation factory airfield to their permanent base in Borisoglebsk, Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Deryabin, spokesman for the Air Force, said on Tuesday.
He clarified that the three Yak-130 aircraft proceeded along the route Irkutsk-Borisoglebsk, making two intermediate landings at the airfields of Novosibirsk and Chelyabinsk for refueling and rest of the crew.
“Until the end of this year, the training squadron of the Borisoglebsky airbase will receive the remaining planes that are to be delivered in the 2012 year. Thus, the total number of squadrons, taking into account the available aircraft, will be 25 units. In total, according to the contracts, the Russian Air Force will receive 55 new training aircraft, ”said V. Deryabin.
The Yak-130 belongs to a new generation of training aircraft. For the first time in Russia, the Yak-130 sold fully digital avionics on electronic equipment. It is equipped with an integrated digital electrical remote control system, which allows for educational purposes to change the characteristics of stability and controllability depending on the type of aircraft being simulated. The reprogramming system allows you to bring the dynamic characteristics of the Yak-130 to the simulated aircraft that are in service with the Russian Air Force.
Together with the aircraft was received simulator
The cadets of the Borisoglebsky Air Force Training Base will learn to control the Yak-130 combat aircraft produced by the Irkut corporation on the newest simulator, Russian Air Force spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Deryabin told Interfax-AVN on Tuesday.
“Borisoglebsky training airbase is ready for the deployment of a new Yak-130 simulator. Industry representatives will arrive at the airbase this week to provide practical assistance in installing a new simulator,” said V. Deryabin.
According to him, the simulator is a computer equipment that creates an environment as close as possible to the cockpit of the Yak-130 with the reflection of all aircraft control systems. The broadcast image imitates the aircraft behind the cabin from all four sides. For maximum sensation of the reality of flight, the seat of the simulator can bend and transmit vibrations.
He noted that the cadets undergo theoretical training on the basis of the Borisoglebsky faculty of VUNC VVS VVA, and from March 2013 for the first time, practical training of future pilots will begin on the newest Yak-130 training aircraft.
