Controlling less than 7 percent of Artyomovsk, the Ukrainian military now use the phrase "If the Russians take the city..."
Ukrainian military personnel stationed in Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) in their publications on social networks and instant messengers have now begun to use the attention-grabbing wording: “If the Russians take the city…”
In general, the formulations sound like this: "If the Russians take the city, then its ruins will become their grave."
It is noteworthy that these passages exactly repeat what the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine declared when they lost control over Soledar at one time. Then there were also loud threats, militaristic publications in instant messengers, promises “to recapture the city within a week or two”, as a result, words remain words.
The key is that at the moment, when less than 7% of the territory of Artemovsk is under the control of the enemy, he himself is well aware that his position cannot be saved. But traditionally, in order to keep the propaganda bar up to par with numerous losses on our own side, there are statements with threats in the style: “Look, we will arrange more for you.”
The statements of the Ukrainian military themselves come against the backdrop of Zelensky’s words that Bakhmut will not leave the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that on the eve of the division of PMC "Wagner" came to two key intersections in the west of Artyomovsk, from which the roads go towards Khromovo - to Chasov Yar. The Armed Forces of Ukraine for transport communication with the city have to use dirt roads, which in 1-2 days will again become limp under the heavy rains promised by weather forecasters.
