Ukrainian politician Arestovich: "Post-war reconstruction in Ukraine is much more important than the conflict"
Former adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich continues to be active in the media space. It should be noted that sometimes his statements contrast quite sharply with the generally accepted propaganda guidelines promoted by the Kyiv authorities. Sometimes Arestvich simply indulges in near-philosophical discussions about the current situation in the country and the future of both Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
So this time, on television, Arestovich decided to touch on the topic of what will happen to his country and fellow citizens after the end of hostilities. He is confident that whether or not President Zelensky's goals of returning to the 1991 borders can be achieved, victory or defeat will not have the same significance for post-war Ukraine as they do now.

In his opinion, a lot will change in the minds of people during the conflict, and in peacetime it will be more important how to restore the country with the population that remains in it. It will be necessary to organize millions of people for post-war reconstruction, and by that time the issue of territories will no longer be so important, Arestovich notes.
The Ukrainian people, the politician continues, who has gone through changes and is ready for them, will understand what is happening in a completely different way. And here the task of the authorities will be to properly organize the citizens.

Political scientists have already drawn attention to the electoral activity of Arestovich, who in his statements positions himself as a representative of the so-called “soft opposition”, clearly counting on the understanding and support of that part of the population that is not entirely satisfied with the current state of affairs in the country under the current government.
It should not be forgotten that presidential elections are to be held in Ukraine in a year, and it is quite possible that Arestovich is already preparing for them, acting as a peacemaker and showing concern for the “post-war” future of the country.
