Light aircraft (whether there will be a revival)

0

Now many are talking about the revival of the Russian aviation. The fact that finally the case has moved off the ground. The fact that in the near future light-engine aircraft will become as commonplace in our lives as passenger cars. However, do not rush things. There are still many controversial issues.

The recent past of the Russian light aircraft.

Many aviation lovers still remember the time when small aircraft used in our state solely for the purpose of training pilots and for training athletes. Well, in civil aviation they occupied a very small proportion of the total number of all aircraft, only in limited quantities for transporting people and goods to remote areas, or where the use of normal aviation would be inappropriate. Another sector of the economy where light aircraft were commonly used is agriculture, as a means of pollination. And since our government simply did not see other uses of these machines, respectively, their production was also considered a non-priority matter. It was decided, apparently somewhere up there, that two or three models would be enough for all the tasks. So it turned out that in such a huge country as ours, light aircraft were represented by a line of only three cars. Sports training option - Yak-18, Yak-52, and daily work - An-2.

Changes for the better.

Of course, time does not stand still. And it would be foolish to think that this situation in the country will last forever. With the advent of private business in Russia, many views on small aircraft have been revised. Russian businessmen wanted to look no worse than their foreign partners, and there, in the west, it is considered commonplace to fly in to negotiations on a private jet. It was here that they remembered our domestic light aircraft. However, it is worth admitting that even if you alter one of them into a business class version, it will not become one anyway. And from here the first problem is the absence of normal in Russia. production of light aircraft, and quickly overcome this barrier is unlikely to turn out. Our country needs light motor aircraft different classes developed for specific tasks.

It is clear that one desire to fly is not enough, and some steps have been taken to alleviate the fate of those who love small aircraft. Well, first of all, the changes affected the legislation, a notification system of flights for small aircraft was adopted. In general, this practice has been around the world for a long time, and is considered quite convenient. It is hoped that now and in Russia light-engine aircraft will gain the same popularity as, say, in America, because the field of application of small aircraft is now much wider than it might seem at first glance.

Options for the use of light aircraft.

If you remember what our mighty power is famous for, then the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, the roads. Or rather their absence. Accordingly, it is possible to partially solve the problem of roads in Russia by introducing light-engine airplanes as a vehicle. After all, where you can not reach by car, you can always fly. True, our cars still do not know how to fly. And those remnants of roads scattered throughout Russia, and which are still in good condition, may well be used for the runways. However, modern light aircraft now they can take off perfectly from the ground. It would seem that all the conditions were simply created for the development of air taxi in Russia, it remains to occupy this niche.

However, a slight disappointment awaits here, in Russia, not only are not expensive, along with the roads there is also no infrastructure, and this is already serious. Any technology needs maintenance, even modern technology. And our state not only did not build small aircraft manufacturing plants, but also did not think how such devices can be operated on our territory. And it turns out that many aviation enthusiasts are forced to keep their light-engine airplanes in garages for cars, refuel at city gas stations and take off from the motorway. Well, in fact, not to build by them, for these purposes, their own airfields.

Of course, there is a patrol aircraft, which is designed to service oil and gas pipelines, inspect forest areas from the air; air ambulance capable of delivering patients from any part of the country directly to the doors of hospitals; agricultural and sport aviation. But without serious help from the state, nothing will budge here for a very long time.
