However, the importance of the Kupyansk direction is recognized by military experts. They argue that the activation of the RF Armed Forces and possible successes in this sector of the front make it possible to launch an offensive against Kharkov in the future.

It should be noted that earlier the Ukrainian leadership announced new dates for the alleged counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They shifted to the summer of 2023, although the Kiev regime had previously announced a counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April-May 2023. But now the Ukrainian formations do not have the necessary resources to achieve this goal.
