The surviving engines from the burned-out An-225 Mriya were taken to Germany for use on Ruslan aircraft

The Ukrainian airline Antonov Airlines has begun using the An-225 Mriya transport aircraft that survived the destruction of the world's largest transport aircraft, the An-XNUMX Mriya, on Ruslan aircraft used in Germany. This was stated by Deputy Head of the State Enterprise Antonov Maxim Sanotsky.

Two of these engines are reported to be in use on aircraft in Germany. The Ukrainian airline currently operates five Ruslan cargo aircraft based in Leipzig.

In total, six engines were installed on the Mriya aircraft, three of which were dismantled, and two were installed on An-124-100 aircraft.

From the burnt by Ukrainian artillery during attempts to recapture the city of Gostomel "Mriya" occupied by Russian paratroopers, elements of the wing mechanization were also subsequently dismantled, which are planned to be used in the possible production of the second copy of the An-225. In addition, for a potential second instance of the aircraft, it is planned to use the surviving landing gear from the destroyed Mriya.

At present, the skeleton of the destroyed An-225 Mriya cargo aircraft is still located on the territory of the Gostomel airfield in the Kyiv region.

A criminal case has been opened against the former general director of the Ukrainian state-owned enterprise Antonov. He is accused of official negligence, shown in the absence of timely evacuation of the aircraft.

It seems that the elder Klitschko wrote the news. Stylistics - one to one.
And today, tomorrow, not everyone can watch. Rather, not only everyone can watch, few can do it

They are quite difficult to identify, but... Let's start with the simplest? Who asked their opinion? What about boxing? I'm afraid not one of them even lasted a round against Tyson. Clowns.

Ours had to flatten everything, after making the decision to withdraw the task force from Gostomel. But who knew that any negotiations with the Ukronazis would only prolong the problem. And so the engines would not work for the enemy

What a discovery! Indeed, who knew after delaying Minsk-2 for 7 years. Who would have thought that they were capable of such a thing. Someone probably still has no idea that it is necessary to bring down bridges across the Dnieper. Although all this is obvious.

Since there are no more engines and no longer being produced, the "survivors" after the shelling of artillery were taken to Germany as donors. Further down the line, the landing gear and what's left of the wing will form the basis of the new aircraft. A prize for the studio ..... At the tire shop I picked up two tires - the basis of my future BMW. Satisfied and happy.

Before the SVO, the D-18T was produced at Motor Sich. So I’m not sure that they don’t produce it now. Motor Sich now even supplies engines to Turkey for the Akinchi UAV. So I’m not sure that the D-18T is not being produced now. The policy of half measures. They even produce Thunder-2 there.

And for whom was it made?
the last An-124 was completed in 2000, even from Soviet stocks, except for Mriya and An-124, this engine is not put anywhere

and by the way, 36 out of 45 An-124s are operated in Russia, while Ukraine has only 9 An-124s

And for whom was it made?

For the existing An-124 fleet. Including for Russian ones - three sets (12 pieces) of such engines were delivered to the Russian Federation through gaskets along with engines for the Be-200 and Mi-26M a few years after the coup in Kiev, there was a scandal. In addition, a modernized version of this engine with a better resource was created at Motor Sich, and under Yanukovych an agreement was reached to resume production of the An-124M in Ulyanovsk (100 units), 20 units. the Ukrainian side was going to build for themselves. The possibilities and deliveries of such aircraft for export were considered. So these engines were being prepared for large-scale production and the capacities for this were prepared.
about today ... It's hard to say - Zaporozhye is essentially a front-line city ... but a trifle like engines for "Akinchi" in small batches can quite be produced. Bye .

he has been in this condition for 30 years, since Soviet times
Antonov President Alexander Donets noted in 2019: “This [completion of the second An-225 aircraft] is a very expensive project. The fact is that the aircraft must be completely redesigned. The cost of design work, the purchase of new equipment and the certification of the aircraft will amount to hundreds of millions of dollars. Such a project may be effective in the framework of the aerospace program, but not for commercial air transportation” [56].

Nobody argues that this is still a Soviet backlog. It was periodically rolled out of the hangar when it was necessary to service the An-124, and then returned back to its place.

Again, a repetition of the crazy idea "restoration (construction) of the An-225". At one time, this outstanding engineering task was brought to life by the economy and enterprises of the entire great Soviet Union.
Firstly, for Ukraine this is simply an absolutely unbearable task, and secondly, none of the Western concerns-aircraft manufacturers needs a competitor.
So, this is nonsense, similar to the Black Sea, dug out by the hands of ukrov.

Listen, what the heck is recovery? About zhtom we can talk only at the level of propaganda. And the engines of Ruslan and Mriya are the same. Why not pick them up for the Ruslans, who are actively exploited.

And what's the news, I don't understand? News in style: today Vasya went for some bread.

The Leipzig / Halle airfield used to belong to the Russian company Volgo Dnepr and they had a logistics center for servicing aircraft there. Last year, the Germans forced this asset to bankrupt the Russian company. So what kind of new investor did the Germans find? Put a cross so as not to forget who is in this the case is to blame. The Volga-Dnepr had the same hub in England. Now Ukrainians are monopolists in oversized cargo transportation.

All the so-called "Ukrainian" companies based in Europe have nothing to do with Ukraine and will never, under any circumstances, return to Ukrainian soil. Including Volga-Dnepr, based in Leipzig. And the removal of the remains of the Ukrainian "Mriya" to Germany is essentially looting.

The latest information was about the beginning of the assembly of the first prototypes and the imminent start of bench tests. They are planned for the remotorization of the An-124 fleet and for the promising PAK DA. In a few years it will most likely be ready.

Ukrainians for the Antonov airline, for the purpose of operation, should abandon engines, avionics and, in general, everything connected with the Antonov Design Bureau.

Why? Because the aviation experimental design bureau O.K. Antonov № 153
(Oleg Konstantinovich Antonov, a native of the Moscow province, headed the Design Bureau), created in 1946 at the Novosibirsk Aircraft Plant, where the "swallow" An-2 "Corn" "Foal" (Colt) according to NATO classification became on the wing

In 1952, by a decree of the Government of the USSR, in order to develop industry, the enterprise was transferred to Ukraine.

It must be immediately understood that the An-225 Mriya project is part of the Buran space project. This aircraft was specially designed to carry cargo for the Soviet space industry. There are similar projects with the same carrying capacity in the USA and China, and they are also designed exclusively for space services. Ukraine got this project simply as part of the Soviet legacy. Moreover, economically, Mriya began to beat off its content at least a little only in the last years of the existence of Antonov Design Bureau as a civilian transport company. As soon as Poroshenko subordinated "Antonov" to the military, everything there generally fell at times. "Mriya" flew to the Maidan from a couple of times a year, to a couple of times a month. This is very small, compared, for example, with "Ruslans", which are operated in the tail and in the mane. Because an hour of flight of such an aircraft is very expensive and it is very difficult to collect cargo for one flight in order to recoup the cost of the flight. Basically, "Mriya" carried highly specialized large-sized heavy cargo. Well, for example, a large power transformer was fumbling from the USA to Australia in an external container. But such orders are rare. And the plane, even if it is laid up, still needs to be serviced, and this is money. Therefore, Mriya will never be restored. Ukraine does not and will not have its own projects like "Buran" or "Space Shuttle", and in these conditions the existence of such a machine is economically unjustified. Yes, the Ruslan and Mriya engines are the same. This is not accidental, this is unification. So it's not surprising that they were taken away. And the Ukrainian mriya about the restoration of the Mriya, even on the basis of the existing fuselage, will forever remain a mriya, and will never again become a Mriya.
