The American M58 MICLIC remote demining system was spotted in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In Ukraine, the American remote demining systems M58 MICLIC (Mine Clearing Line Charge - an extended demining charge), which are actually an analogue of the Soviet UR-77 Meteorite system, were noticed. A video with the use of this system by the Ukrainian military appeared yesterday on Ukrainian and Russian resources.

The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to use the American mine clearance system M58 MICLIC to make passages in minefields. A video that appeared on the Web shows the use of this system in one of the sections on the line of contact, or at some training ground of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the rear areas, details are not given. To tow a trailer with a mine clearance system, the American MRAP "International MaxxPro" is used.

The United States did not report the delivery of this demining system to Ukraine, so it is impossible to say when the M58 MICLIC appeared in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Americans spoke about the inclusion of demining systems in various military aid packages several times, but without any specifics, they simply indicated positions.

The M58 MICLIC (Mine Clearing Line Charge) remote demining system is designed to make passages in minefields. For this, a C4 explosive charge weighing 794 kg is used, placed in a flexible hose 106 meters long. The charge is supplied by a solid-propellant rocket, after detonation, a passage is formed in a minefield 8 meters wide and 100 meters long. The system itself is placed in a single-axle or two-axle trailer, which can be towed using various armored vehicles.

But I didn’t understand, are they really preparing for the offensive or are they thinking to flow through their minefields?

Naturally for the offensive. You are not aware that in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, ours have long been and laid minefields

Ukraine in 2021 was among the top five countries in the world with the highest mine contamination, and now it may already be in first place - there are not only mines without any maps of minefields, but also trip wires, booby traps, cluster munitions with petal mines, unexploded ordnance , grenades, etc.
There, after the war, civilians will explode on all this shit for decades.

They are preparing to retreat to previously prepared positions. The defense of Artemovsk and Avdiivka for them: "is not important")))

Firstly, not all deliveries are covered in the media - there is a war with global targets. And somehow, strangely, a combat charge did not fly far. Our UR 77 flies far away, it is sometimes used to destroy a fortified area. Maybe not the correct laying of a warhead in a trailer, a launch rocket too much energy expended to pull out this gut. feel Or maybe someone tied a brick to the end of the gut. wassat

I can suggest several options: the reserve if the wind is oncoming, the tying cord may be somewhat longer, ...
Maybe a stupid assumption - they fought our gorynych, but they didn’t calculate everything.
But the shooting shows that when casting, they tried to straighten the ammo rack along the entire length.

That's right, you can unhook the brake cable, it will fly even further.

And on URka there are two missiles, two guts

The United States did not report on the supply of this demining system to Ukraine
The Americans do not report much about what is then observed or destroyed by our guys. And that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have their own remote demining systems? Although they are happy with everything that comes from the West, including bridgelayers, field crematoria, etc.

What is this American M58 MICLIC remote demining system?
Tolley's business is our "Snake Gorynych".
At the beginning of the SVO there was a video about how our fighters smoked the Nazis out of a 5-story building with the help of the "Snake Gorynych", well, how to say they smoked, they just completely destroyed this building. Thus, our fighters have expanded the scope of the Russian remote demining system "Zmey Gorynych". And what else "Serpent Gorynych" can do - they don't tell us about it yet.

And what? The video was filmed most likely at the training ground and even the camera could not work properly. What is the point of this note/article? "Katz offering to surrender?" (With). In response, you can write that on the LBS from the Russian side, remote mining systems "Agriculture" were noticed. After all, the sowing campaign is coming soon and we need to help the Banderlogs.

Yes, no, "we'll throw our hats over." Banderlogs are being prepared, they are rehearsing. Yesterday, 9 UAVs were shot down near Belgorod, they are trying to sniff out our rear. So we will shout "Hurrah" later.

Although this system, even our "Snake Gorynych" at this stage of hostilities is not effective.
In order to clear mines in front of enemy positions, it is necessary to drive at least 100 m to the positions. Now tell me what idiot on a tin can with explosives will go under the very nose of the enemy. And most importantly, who will allow him to drive up to such a distance. Okay, even 200-300 m.
It will be good to use this system when the troops go to break through the front. For example, a column ran into a minefield set by a remote mining system. That's when a demining system is needed to create a passage in a minefield.
Yes, I know, they try to use it, untie the charge, and it flies a little further, while the accuracy is at zero. Just by chance.

So in our time, canned food itself can "drive up" without asking permission.
For example, a modern demining system can now technically be designed in the form of a large gliding corrected air bomb-coil with a supply of hose charge - at the same time, direct practical meaning will again appear in large and very, very, very large air munitions. Or in the form of an accurate rocket or drone. And, most importantly, it is quickly, in minutes, delivered to where it is exactly needed and overcoming huge distances - no off-road is scary, for example.
Of course, this will already be in some future generations of such demining systems that will replace the existing ones.

Khokhloflagok could fasten any crew. The video could have been filmed anywhere.

By the way, the angle of attack was taken to the maximum, so the charge fell so close. The brake cable did not even give a tightness.

On our URka there are two rockets (obviously more powerful than this one), two guts. So they fly on. If you unfasten the cable, URka can throw charges much further

Demining installations UR-07M "Resorting" are already used in the NWO. The vehicle based on the BMP-3 has two charges. Moreover, two types of charges can be used. The first is fired at 340 m, the second at 1 km.

a C4 explosive charge weighing 794 kg is used, placed in a flexible hose 106 meters long.

With so many explosives per 100m, it is possible not only to clear the path for the passage, but also to lay the road directly through the enemy positions. They showed how our people in Syria moved through the narrow streets of cities using a similar thing. After taking off and undermining the hose from the window openings, the Igilovites no longer protruded.
