The Verkhovna Rada intends to check the "legality" of the presence of the Black Sea Fleet in the Crimea
Kyiv intends to denounce the agreement between Ukraine and Russia on the stay of the Black Sea fleet on the Crimean peninsula, signed in 2010. A group of deputies of the Verkhovna Rada sent an appeal to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine with a request to check the agreement for compliance with the Ukrainian constitution.
On March 31, 2023, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine received a submission in which the deputies asked to justify the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the "Ukrainian" peninsula of Crimea, and how this corresponds to the Ukrainian constitution. The document was signed by 49 parliamentarians who believe that at present there is no legal framework for the further stay of Russian ships in Crimea. In addition, the presence of the Black Sea Fleet on the peninsula "does not meet" the principles of ensuring security.
- said the press service of the court.
Apparently, after the court recognizes the agreement as unconstitutional, the deputies will file a lawsuit with another international court to arrest the Russian ships.
At the same time, as has been repeatedly reported, Zelensky simply maniacally wants to "liberate" Crimea by force, he has already promised that this summer he will sunbathe on the Crimean beaches. Not all Western politicians support the clown's plans, some people believe that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have enough strength to break through to the peninsula.
