Patrol ship "Yaroslav the Wise" project 11540 completed the first stage of the planned dock repair

Patrol ship "Yaroslav the Wise" project 11540 has completed dock repairs and will soon go to the main base of the Baltic fleet in the city of Baltiysk. This was reported on the website of the Baltic shipbuilding plant Yantar.

On Friday, March 31, the patrol ship was taken out of the floating dock, the launching took place in the normal mode. The ship has passed the first stage of scheduled dock maintenance and is preparing to return to Baltiysk. When the second stage of maintenance is planned, the message does not say.

On March 31, the first stage of the planned dock repair of the patrol ship Yaroslav the Wise was completed at JSC Shipyard Yantar

- said in a statement.

It is worth noting that Yaroslav the Wise completed repairs in April last year, which also took place at the Yantar Shipyard. The ship carried out a number of maintenance works for auxiliary engines, some modernization and other works provided for by the plan. Whether the replacement of weapons was carried out was not reported.

Due to the collapse of the USSR and lack of money, it was completed already in the 2000s and became part of the Russian Navy on July 24, 2009 under the name "Yaroslav the Wise".

Full displacement - 4500 tons, speed - about 30 knots, cruising range - more than 5000 miles, autonomy 30 days, crew 210 people. Armed with: AK-100 artillery mount, Kinzhal and Kortik missiles, 533 mm torpedoes, Ka-27 helicopter.

Eh, the speed of construction was good, now you can’t even dream of such a thing. Successful service to the ship!

Read the post. The ship was laid down under the name "Impregnable" on "Yantar" on May 27, 1988 and launched in June 1990. Two years before launch, isn't that fast? The fact that it was not completed later is not a problem of Soviet shipbuilding.

This is taking into account the fact that in the USSR in these two years, several ships were launched. Therefore, the fleet in the USSR was powerful.

    Is this another "Dagger"?
Not the one that is hypersonic and under the belly of the MIG-31?

I don’t think that the MIG 31K will even be able to take off with this "Dagger", but if necessary, it will take off. hi

      Is this another "Dagger"?

This is air defense, a naval version of the first Thor modifications.

After a complete overhaul, it is necessary to use Calibers (there are 533 mm torpedo tubes) to smack across Ukraine from near Leningrad, sorry, Petersburg, so to speak, to check systems and weapons. After all, Caliber was sent from the Caspian Sea and to Syria to Ukraine .....

    Again, the editors mess up!
On Yaroslav the Wise, two containers of 4 X-35 missiles were installed, in contrast to the first Neustrashimy corps. Perhaps the whole story with the delay in the construction of the ship had a positive effect on the installation of shock CDs.
It is a pity that the Fearless, after a very long repair, remained toothless and did not acquire the KR X-35 Uranus. But, they are very good as anti-submarine ships.)))

There was a good idea - project 11540, but it's a pity that only two buildings were built. Not without problems, of course, but I liked the ship, especially its seaworthiness. And he also had a GTE direct control panel on the undercarriage, which was very convenient when passing narrowness, entering / exiting the base / from the base, and mooring.

The author wrote so ambiguously that Kinzhal missiles are in service - many are perplexed HOW ... but the author simply wrote clumsily and instead of the Kinzhal air defense system, as it should be, he simply wrote - Kinzhal missiles, which means those very Daggers.
