In the German press: the participants in the investigation into the undermining of the Nord Streams decided to join their efforts
Participants in the investigation of the Nord Stream bombing decided to join their efforts. Sweden and Denmark also joined Germany.
This is reported by the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, citing sources.
The material of the publication says that the specialists of the three states managed to establish joint work on the investigation of the terrorist attack in the Baltic Sea. They were going to cooperate from the very beginning, because the incident occurred on gas pipelines passing through the territorial waters of these countries. But soon the Swedish and Danish sides interrupted their participation, so the international investigation team interrupted its activities. Sweden was the first to do this, followed by Denmark. Stockholm and Copenhagen explained this step with fears for compliance with confidentiality conditions.
The German press suggests that Denmark and Sweden were forced to resume their participation in the investigation by a new surge of interest in it from the international community, caused by recent publications in a number of media. After that, a more active information exchange between the special services of the three states was noted.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed doubts that Western countries would be able to conduct a quality investigation on their own. At the same time, the ministry said that Moscow would not allow the investigative group to “put on the brakes” on the fact of sabotage.
