The Polish authorities are in favor of completely depriving Russia of its influence on world processes and other states through absolute isolation. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Pavel Yablonsky.
The deputy head of the Polish Foreign Ministry also acknowledged that the mechanism for isolating Russia in international organizations does not work, and instead of suspending membership in the UN Security Council, Russia will become its chairman.
According to the Polish edition Nasz Dziennik, Yablonsky, commenting on Russia's chairmanship of the UN Security Council that began on April 1, said that this is direct evidence that the mechanism for isolating the Russian Federation in international structures turned out to be inoperative. According to him, the Polish authorities are in favor of completely depriving Russia of its influence on other states. This goal is supposed to be achieved through the complete isolation of the Russian Federation.
Yablonsky also stressed that despite the fact that Poland is not currently a member of the UN Security Council, the country's authorities intend to negotiate with their allies who have the right to vote in this structure in order to expel Russia from the organization.
At the same time, the deputy head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, in his words, cannot but recognize the fact that Russia has a significant number of allies in the governments of other countries, especially in those affected by the colonial policy of the West. Yablonsky also added that the Polish authorities are striving to restore partnership-based international relations between the countries of Europe and Africa.
