The Russian Ministry of Defense continues to deploy new tanks to the NMD zone, mainly the new T-90M "Breakthrough" and deeply modernized T-72B3M. The equipment comes straight from the assembly line, which operates around the clock. It is noted that Russian tanks in terms of their characteristics are not inferior to modern Western models, and in some aspects even surpass them. Earlier, Uralmash reported that in the production of tanks they took into account the experience of using tanks in the Northern Military District, which made it possible to make some changes to armored vehicles.
Recall that the West began supplying tanks to Ukraine, in recent days Kyiv has received 14 Challenger 2 tanks, 18 Leopard 2A6 tanks from Germany, and 3 from Portugal. Tanks were also supplied by several other countries of the so-called "tank coalition". Kyiv is preparing an armored fist, which, as part of the spring counteroffensive, should break through the defenses of the Russian army.
