The Ukrainian General Staff reports on the "pressure" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnieper
According to reports from the Ukrainian command, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to push the Russian military to a distance of 20-30 kilometers from the left bank of the Dnieper River.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces of the South say they are "working to ensure that Russian servicemen constantly feel the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the pressure." The militants of the Kyiv regime were tasked with "cleaning up" a strip 20-30 kilometers wide on the left bank of the Dnieper.
According to the head of the press center of the southern grouping of the Ukrainian army, Natalya Gumenyuk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to keep the isthmus under fire control, which connects the mainland of the left bank with the Kinburn Spit peninsula. All this is aimed at ensuring that the Armed Forces of Ukraine land on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and create a springboard for further offensive.
Russian military correspondents report that in the Zaporozhye region, the Russian Armed Forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian militants in the settlements of Novoandreevka, Novodanilovka and Maly Shcherbaki. On the southern section of the contact line, Russian troops managed to hit the accumulation of enemy manpower and military equipment in the city of Kherson, as well as the settlements of Ivanovka and Gavrilovka.
The enemy does not abandon attempts to throw their saboteurs onto the left bank of the Dnieper using watercraft, but all of them are currently being quickly suppressed by Russian artillery. Attempts by Ukrainian forces to gain a foothold on the islands in the Dnieper are also being thwarted.
It is also reported that at night, militants of the Kyiv regime launched artillery strikes on civilian infrastructure in the city of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region.
