Russian specialists have developed a special lens for masking objects with infrared radiation from drone cameras

There was information about the creation of a new tool for protecting objects from drones enemy. We are talking about a special lens, which received the name "Shield" from the developers.

Information Service TASS with reference to the developer reports that the main function of the "Shield" is to mask objects with thermal (infrared) radiation from drones enemy, equipped with thermal imaging cameras - cameras capable of shooting in the infrared range of the spectrum.

The developer claims that objects hidden under this kind of masking lens will not be recorded not only from a drone, but also from space, where foreign spy satellites are located.

The developer reportedly plans to send a proposal to the Russian Ministry of Defense to introduce the "Shield" into mass production so that the camouflage lens can be used during a special military operation.

It is worth noting that CBO has taken the use of drones to a whole new level. Their significance became clear even after the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, but with the beginning of the NMD, the use of UAVs, including those with infrared cameras, became truly massive. And disguise from them plays a huge role. If the "Shield" is really effective, then its use will save many lives of Russian military personnel, and also (apparently, with the development of technology) to hide military equipment when it is moved.

I am a dark person in this regard, therefore my question is probably not the right one ... But what is the size of this lens if you need to hide, for example, a tank? With two tanks? request And on what armature should this magnifying glass be mounted above the tank?

I am again tormented by vague doubts... Is it really a screw-powered apparatus?.. If only on new physical principles...

**According to the expert, the technology is a film that covers objects on the surface. The surrounding area is projected onto the film. "It's a kind of fake lens," the company's CEO explained.**
I don't understand anything, but it's very interesting recourse wink

A! Well, then it’s understandable - these are the type of rag facades on which the desired image is applied and abandoned buildings, dilapidated buildings and other "ugly things" are covered with them, when motorcades with an inspection from Moscow can pass by them, or with high-ranking officials who have arrived ... wink love

It can be anything - in the range from a breakthrough invention that can change the course of the war to the next analogy for budget money. Therefore, there is no need to write such articles. Appears in the troops, will work effectively - then write and praise. Until then, there is nothing to talk about. As one of the greats said, you won’t be full today for tomorrow’s dinner.

In general, in fact, this is a piece of plywood, curved in the form of a shield of an ancient foot warrior. It will really hide the fighter from any copter. It's cool that this "invention" can milk the Ministry of Defense even in our time.

Journalists-piarastas in their roles. In my opinion, the essence of the message is that another method has been proposed for suppressing unmasking signs in the IR range. Who exactly is the developer is unclear. What is the efficiency - too. There is no more information.

No link to the source, no details..
Naked stuffing like: "who heard what? Spread it!"
Why can't you put minuses for an article?
It would be a useful feature.
