
The XNUMXth scientific and practical conference is underway in the Far East on the topic “Prospects for the use of innovative technologies and the development of military and dual-use products in the interests of the Naval Fleet". Its organizer is the command of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy.

The event takes place at the headquarters of the Pacific Fleet from March 21 to 23. About 130 representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the scientific community and the military-industrial complex take part in the conference. The event was opened by acting. Commander of the Pacific Fleet, Vice Admiral Sergei Rekish.
Within the framework of the conference organized by the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation, an exhibition is also taking place, where its visitors were shown prototypes of the latest Russian dronesdeveloped by the Kalashnikov Group of Companies.
On the opening day of the conference, issues were raised about the introduction of marine autonomous robotic systems, as well as the use of underwater intelligent robots. During the conference, a number of round tables were organized for specialists.
Further, it is planned to discuss the prospects for the use of marine, underwater and air robotic systems for the needs of the Russian Navy.
The United States also pays great attention to the development of unmanned systems for the Navy. In particular, according to Pentagon-owned Stars and Stripes magazine, today the head of the press service of the US 7th Fleet based in the Pacific, Christina Wiedemann, spoke about the testing of the MQ-4C Triton strategic reconnaissance UAV. According to her, the device is designed for round-the-clock monitoring of the waters of the Indo-Pacific region.
