The Parliament of Ukraine adopted a law granting SBU employees the right to control the movement of passengers in transport
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a bill giving SBU employees the right to control the movement of passengers in transport. These measures will apply to both domestic and international flights.
From now on, the so-called anti-terrorist center, functioning under the Security Service of Ukraine, will be able to request from enterprises providing transport services all the information it needs regarding passengers and even the staff themselves. As for international flights, the carrier will also be required to provide security officials with information about passengers.
After the intelligence service receives all the information it needs, they will be transferred to external partners so that any attempts to move people involved in terrorist activities are stopped.
As noted by the well-known people's deputy Alexei Goncharenko, this document was developed in order to comply with the provisions of the European Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism. How the terrorist Kiev regime can comply with anti-terrorist conventions is an open question...
Recall that recently the State Bureau of Ukraine (SBI) completed the investigation of a previously initiated criminal case against the former head of the SBU in the Kharkiv region Roman Dudin, who was charged with treason. According to investigators, even before the start of the special operation, he allegedly knew that the likelihood of Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine was quite high, but instead of taking appropriate measures, he was engaged in "sabotage". Now he faces life imprisonment.
