The maneuver of the Wagner PMC, with further development of success, allows cutting the enemy grouping in Artyomovsk and blocking the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city center
The battle for Artyomovsk continues. To date, the situation in the city is developing in such a way that the advanced units of the Wagner PMC are less than 500 meters from its center. At the same time, as the participants in the battles themselves say, taking control of the quarters adjacent to the center has mainly a psychological effect.
A truly strategic effect in the entire Bakhmut (Artyomovskaya) operation may have the advancement of Russian units in the southwestern part of the city. The fact is that it is through this part of Artemovsk that the streets pass, turning into roads in two most important directions - to Konstantinovka through Ivanovskoye (Krasnoe) and to Chasov Yar through Khromovo (Artemovskoye).
To date, it has been reported that Wagner PMC units have crossed Korsunsky Street (formerly Nekrasova) from south to north and liberated from Ukrainian formations the territory northeast of the place where the monument to the Soviet MiG-17 was previously located. Parts of Korsunsky, Krylov, Ivan Ivkin streets in the area of its intersection with the mentioned Krylov street passed under the control of the fighters of the assault detachments.
Thus, a roundabout maneuver was made to the north-east of the junction of Korsunsky (Nekrasova) and Tchaikovsky streets. This junction is important because, being in the area of the square "Aircraft", which makes up its streets, Artyomovsk passes into an intercity road - to Ivanovskoye and further to Konstantinovka.
A detour maneuver may allow you to move to another important intersection - Tchaikovsky and Yubileynaya streets, from which the road to Chasov Yar actually begins through the aforementioned Artyomovskoye (Khromovo).
Accordingly, with the development of success, Wagner PMCs can take key quarters in the south-west of Artyomovsk with this roundabout maneuver, and this will lead to both cutting the enemy grouping into parts in the city and completely blocking the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, seated in the city center.
And for the enemy, a difficult situation is developing - throwing reserves into the area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe "Airplane" is fraught with the fact that they will be knocked out by Russian artillery that has fired on it. To attack from the city limits from Tchaikovsky Street means to expose the flank. Remove part of the troops from the center - there is a high probability that the center will be liberated by Russian forces without the need to block the Ukrainian garrison in this sector of the inner city front.
