The President of Ukraine held an emergency meeting on the results of a massive missile attack
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held an emergency meeting with representatives of all law enforcement agencies, as well as the Ukroboronprom concern and the Cabinet of Ministers. The reason for such a large-scale meeting was a massive missile and drone attack on military and infrastructure facilities in Ukraine.
During the meeting, Zelensky announced the need to strengthen the protection of energy infrastructure facilities from rocket attacks, as well as to ensure the fastest possible restoration of power supply in the affected regions.
Among the regions listed by Zelensky, almost all regions of Ukraine are present, which refutes the statements of the Ukrainian authorities, who claim that a significant part of the missiles and strike missiles launched by the Russian army drones was shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
It is also reported that a massive missile attack, during which strikes were made on a number of military and infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine, was a "retaliation strike" in response to a terrorist act committed by militants of the Kiev regime in the border area of the Bryansk region of Russia.
As a result of the missile strike, emergency power outages occurred in a number of regions of Ukraine.
