Armed by the West, the Ukrainian army suffers huge losses, NATO is weakening due to the constant support of the Kyiv regime. This was stated by an American military expert, former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense, Colonel Douglas McGregor, in an interview with journalist Dan Ball.
The analyst believes that the United States underestimated the Russian military potential. Now there is a real catastrophe for the Ukrainian army armed by the West. McGregor advises the West to quickly reach a peace agreement with Russia.

According to McGregor, Ukrainian troops are losing a thousand soldiers a day during the fighting in Artemovsk (Bakhmut). The unwillingness to leave Artemovsk leads to catastrophic losses, and old people, teenagers and women are already sent to the army. In fact, there is a "utilization" of the personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces, and the West looks at it indifferently.
McGregor noted that the support of Ukraine led to significant reputational risks for the Western world and, first of all, for the United States. However, the American leadership does not accept such criticism from analysts and military experts, being absolutely confident in its ability to win in Ukraine, or at least inflict significant damage on Russia.
