
US President Joe Biden, who visited Kyiv the day before, promised Zelensky a new military aid package worth about $500 million. He did this literally immediately after the appearance in Kyiv. Later, the Pentagon revealed what was behind the promise of the owner of the White House.
According to the US Department of Defense, the new military assistance package for Ukraine will include: GMLRS precision guided missiles for HIMARS missile systems, 155 mm artillery shells, 120 mm mortar rounds, four airborne target detection radars, Javelin anti-tank missile systems, 2000 disposable hand-held anti-tank rocket launchers, four Bradley Fire Support Team forward artillery observer and forward air guidance armored vehicles, two repair recovery vehicles, Claymore anti-personnel mines, explosive equipment, night vision devices, protected tactical radios, medical equipment and various spare parts and other field equipment.
All this will cost the US 460 million dollars. In total, Washington has transferred military assistance to Kyiv, since the beginning of Biden's presidency, in the amount of more than 30 billion dollars. At the same time, 29,8 billion of this amount was sent to Ukraine after the start of the Russian special operation.
In total, the United States has pledged more than $30,4 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the start of the Biden administration.

But most of all on Monday, Zelensky was pleased with another statement by Biden, in which he promised Ukraine to supply 700 tanks, thousands of armored vehicles and artillery systems, more than two million artillery shells and over 50 advanced MLRS. True, he did not say when all this will be delivered or where the United States and allies will take it all.
