Russia again changed its tactics of launching missile attacks on Ukraine, the Ukrainian air defense was unable to intercept all the missiles fired. Yuriy Ignat, speaker of the Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, expressed his dissatisfaction with this fact.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is again complaining about the Russian military, who once again changed the tactics of delivering missile strikes. Then they launch rockets along with drones-kamikaze, then separately, then during the day, then in the morning, and now also at night and just a few pieces. They completely confused Ukrainian analysts, and the air defense system did not cope with the last blow, failing to intercept all the missiles.
According to the colonel, this time the Russian ship fired only four Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea. Air defense this time blundered and could not intercept all the missiles. But there is no need to worry about this, the Ukrainian air defense is still the most effective in the world, it intercepts 75-80% of Russian Caliber.
Unfortunately, not all of them were shot down, it is not always possible to achieve a 75% result. A cruise missile is such an object that is not so easy to hit. And only thanks to the skills that our air defense soldiers have acquired, we manage to achieve (...) 80-XNUMX percent of the shooting down of this type of missiles. Let me remind you that no other country in the world has such experience.
Ignat said.
Earlier, a representative of the Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced a "new tactic" of the Russian troops, in which they first launch Drones and target missiles that open air defense, and then comes the second wave, striking directly at the identified air defense systems and radars, as well as at designated targets.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urges to prepare for a massive missile strike on the eve of two dates at once - February 23 and 24. The Ukrainian generals are confident that Russia will definitely send back "gifts".
