The Khartsizsky plant completed the manufacture of pipes for the water conduit under construction by military builders in the Donbass

The Khartsizsky Pipe Plant has produced the final meters of steel pipe, which will be used for the water conduit from the Don River to the Donbass region. The construction of the conduit is carried out by the military.

Currently, work is underway to create a water conduit that will provide new regions of the Russian Federation with fresh water. The length of the conduit is 194 kilometers. It will connect the Don River with the Seversky Donets-Donbass Canal and pass through the territory of the Rostov Region and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

As the authorities of the regions plan, the conduit will supply 300 cubic meters of water per day. This will largely solve the problem of providing water to Donetsk and other settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic.

For the Khartsizsky plant, the production of pipes for the water conduit was the first such large-scale order. Previously, the enterprise was idle for about seven years, but the state order allowed the production facilities to be launched. Accordingly, new jobs have also appeared.

More than 2 thousand builders are directly involved in the construction of the water conduit. Also attracted 1 thousand units of construction and special equipment.

Recall that the Khartsizsky Pipe Plant is located in the city of Khartsizsk, Donetsk People's Republic. The pipes produced at this enterprise were used for the construction of many pipelines, including, for example, the Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod gas pipeline or the Surgut - Polotsk oil pipeline.

It's good that the plant was restarted, the bad thing is that these are steel pipes subject to corrosion. In Russia, large-diameter polyethylene pipes have long been used for water conduits.

Where is PE used with a diameter of 1000 mm?

Mdya-mdya, pipes with an external polyethylene coating and an internal epoxy, probably. The plant could once do, but foreign materials .... request

How do you seal the weld from the inside? There was a time when such pipes were laid, they rot as quickly as ordinary ones, but they cost 2 times more. Polyethylene pipes are cheaper and do not rot at all.

Is everything okay with the Don River itself? Indeed, in Rostov-on-Don and the region there are problems with water.

In the photo, polymer pipes are laid and polymer pipes are laid, and metal pipes were produced in Khartsizsk. Who is whistling?

This plant has produced 30 kilometers of steel pipes, yesterday's news. They will probably install where it is impossible to lay polymer.

The author of the article whistles as usual, grabbing the first photo that came across from the Internet, not at all intending to study the issue a little deeper and check the accuracy of the information.

It's good that military builders are building water pipes and quickly, it's bad that their technologies obey the principle "the end justifies the means."
Although in this situation it may be necessary.

I am very happy for the Donbass, people know how to live, they cherish the Soviet legacy, and not only that Ukraine, which has pissed off absolutely everything in 8 years, has not built a single ship, not a single aircraft
If Khartsyzsk had been Ukraine, then this plant would have been seized by Svinarchuk's raider group, and the plant would have been sold as a warehouse and the equipment was cut into scrap metal, thousands of people became unemployed.

in this whole situation, look at the numbers: 300 cubic meters / day ...
it's only 12 cubic meters per hour...
at my house, women spend 0,5-0,7 cubic meters per day
those. enough water, with a stretch, only for Donetsk ...

This is a temporary measure, the whole city is without water and carries bottled water from tankers, which are brought on schedule.
I don't want to offend you, but in such conditions, your women will not be able to spend such volumes of water.
