The Khartsizsky Pipe Plant has produced the final meters of steel pipe, which will be used for the water conduit from the Don River to the Donbass region. The construction of the conduit is carried out by the military.
Currently, work is underway to create a water conduit that will provide new regions of the Russian Federation with fresh water. The length of the conduit is 194 kilometers. It will connect the Don River with the Seversky Donets-Donbass Canal and pass through the territory of the Rostov Region and the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
As the authorities of the regions plan, the conduit will supply 300 cubic meters of water per day. This will largely solve the problem of providing water to Donetsk and other settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic.
For the Khartsizsky plant, the production of pipes for the water conduit was the first such large-scale order. Previously, the enterprise was idle for about seven years, but the state order allowed the production facilities to be launched. Accordingly, new jobs have also appeared.
More than 2 thousand builders are directly involved in the construction of the water conduit. Also attracted 1 thousand units of construction and special equipment.
Recall that the Khartsizsky Pipe Plant is located in the city of Khartsizsk, Donetsk People's Republic. The pipes produced at this enterprise were used for the construction of many pipelines, including, for example, the Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod gas pipeline or the Surgut - Polotsk oil pipeline.
