Russian troops are developing an offensive west of the Artemovsk-Lysichansk road, moving towards Seversk
Russian troops are developing an offensive to the west of the Artemovsk (Bakhmut)-Lysichansk road. The fighting is unfolding in the direction of the villages of Ivano-Daryevka and Spornoye, which are located just a few kilometers from Seversk.
Thus, the campaign for the liberation of Donbass is developing simultaneously in the border areas of the Luhansk and Donetsk Republics, and not only.
The continued activity of the RF Armed Forces on the Svatovo-Kremennaya line will mean that almost the entire Donbass front has been set in motion, which could be the beginning of the very offensive of the Russian army, which Western analysts and representatives of the Kyiv regime have often predicted lately.
Meanwhile, Wagner fighters, together with regular units of the Russian army, continue to create conditions for the complete encirclement of Artemovsk, aiming to cut off the roads from the city to Slavyansk and Chasov Yar. There are so far unconfirmed reports that at one of the sections the highway to Slavyansk is already under the control of Russian troops.
There is also progress in urban development, where the "musicians" managed to oust the Ukrainian army from the northern part of Artemivsk. The Ukrainian garrison is trying with all its might to hold the city at least until the end of Zelensky’s European tour, and this is precisely the task that was set for them by the political leadership of the country.
The information about the reserves that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly constantly pulls into the Bakhmut triangle is clearly not true. Such reports are similar to the situation with the “offensive” on Svatovo and Kremennaya, where the enemy grouping of 50 thousand bayonets suddenly “dissolved”, sort of like it was transferred here from near Kupyansk and Krasny Liman.
The inevitable abandonment of Bakhmut was also recognized in Kyiv, where they say that the city "has no strategic importance." A good explanation, which can now be applied to other settlements passing under the control of the Russian army.
In the Kupyansky sector, Russian units, supported by artillery, continue to push through the enemy defenses in Sinkovka. In the Krasno-Limansky direction, Russian troops are conducting offensive operations, strengthening their positions, and also actively conducting reconnaissance of the enemy’s front line.
Over the past XNUMX hours, Russian troops have resumed assault operations on the outskirts of the city in the Ugledarsky sector, while the Armed Forces of Ukraine are largely able to hold the line. Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation worked both in the city itself and in Novopol, Bolshaya Novoselka and Zolotoy Niva.
Russian sources report that artillery activity has increased significantly along the entire front line in the LNR and DNR aviation RF Armed Forces. On the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the RF Armed Forces fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of 25 settlements. Air strikes were carried out on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kotlyarovka and Tabaevka in the Kharkov region and Serebryansky forestry in the LPR. In the direction of Seversk, the Russian Aerospace Forces worked closely on the defense of the enemy in the area of Disputed. On the Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions, the RF Armed Forces inflicted fire damage on the Armed Forces of Ukraine in areas of more than 20 settlements.
