Russian Ambassador in London: Great Britain sends weapons purchased from third countries to Kyiv
Since the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, Great Britain has taken a consistent pro-Ukrainian position and advocates a tough policy towards Russia.
The country ranks first in Europe and second after the United States among NATO countries in terms of supplies weapons Kiev
However, according to Moscow, not all of these weapons are actually British.
According to Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin, it is known in Moscow that the British authorities are buying up weapons in third countries for their subsequent shipment to Ukraine.
Kelin noted that Russia also has information about exactly which countries these weapons are purchased from. The Russian diplomat said this on air of the TV channel "Russia 24". True, Kelin did not name these countries.
In addition, the Russian ambassador in London added that Russia will be able to respond to attempts to create a tribunal against it, as a lot of evidence has been collected proving the crimes of the Ukrainian side.
Bilateral relations between Russia and the UK are "close to zero" due to London's fault, the diplomat said.
Recall that on January 16 this year, the head of the British Ministry of Defense, Ben Wallace, announced a record package of military assistance to Kyiv, which includes supplies of 14 tanks Challenger 2, more than 100 other armored vehicles, hundreds of missiles, small arms, military vehicles, etc.
