Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia threatened the United States with consequences for sabotage at Nord Stream
76
The United States will face the consequences after the publication of new data on sabotage against the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov.
As the deputy head of the Russian diplomatic department noted, the publication of journalist Seymour Hersh confirmed what the Russian side had already made as a conclusion on the situation with gas pipelines. Ryabkov emphasized that Moscow never doubted the involvement of the United States, and possibly other NATO countries, in this act of sabotage.
I think that there will be consequences of this, they simply cannot but appear, despite all the numerous denials that immediately followed from officials from Washington.
In favor of the data published by Hersh, the desire of the West to delay the investigation of all the circumstances of the sabotage, as well as not to allow representatives of the Russian side to participate in the investigation, also testifies. Recall that in recent months, the events at Nord Stream have indeed disappeared from the media agenda of the Western media, and obviously not without a corresponding indication. Although if the West could blame Russia for this, then the topic, on the contrary, would be constantly discussed in the information space.
Now the Russian leadership should think about what should be an adequate response from the United States and NATO to such an outrageous action against gas pipelines.
