Germany turned to its allies with a request to make a decision on the delivery of tanks to Ukraine as soon as possible

As the news Bloomberg, the German authorities have asked their European allies to ensure the delivery of tanks Leopard-2 to Ukraine as soon as possible. It is precisely those countries that have such military equipment that must assume obligations to transfer it by the end of this week. A meeting of the heads of defense departments of NATO member countries is also scheduled, which is to be held in Brussels on February 14.

The German government is extremely concerned that European countries will not be able to send enough of these combat vehicles to Kyiv in order to form 2 tank battalions, which will consist of 62 units of such equipment.

It should be noted that, for its part, the German Cabinet announced at the end of last month that it would send Ukraine 14 Leopards 2A6, and also issue permission for the re-export of this equipment by other operating countries. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius assured that Ukraine will be able to receive them by the end of next month. Among other countries that have expressed a desire to provide Kyiv with Western-style tanks, there are also Great Britain, Norway, Poland, and Slovakia. The first batch of such military aid will include a total of up to 140 units, which Kyiv expects to receive from 12 states.

Recall that in addition to this, Zelensky also demands fighter jets and submarines from NATO countries. The idea of submarines in NATO is swept aside. But this is for now...

This is a myth, or rather ignorance from ignorance. Similarly, with the F-16 - where the main pool is those machines that are decommissioned. In fact, only one "military" contract has been concluded with Germany for 35 F-35s. Even under Merkel, this contract was formed and the forms were signed, but Merkel, and then Scholz for almost a year, confidently fed breakfast and conducted various audits. However, here, they did sign, as part of a record investment in the armed forces.

I have already written about donors before, here I will repeat.
Norway - waiting for A7 since 25. 20 A4 in reserve, 32 in active forces.
Poland promises about company A4. But here by the end year they will have 4 battalions of new tanks (2 on Abrams and 2 on K2) and then there may already be a different layout. And yes, these contracts already exist, regardless of the Leopard deal.
Finland - here they fit in for the sake of solidarity, also near a company. On the other hand, Leo2A4 they have a tank of the second line, so to speak, and the base is A6.
Spain. They have about 100 A4s, which they even declared for tenders (Peru, Indonesia). Leopards2E (A6) - will keep. However, Spain has readiness problems. A4 only for repair and modernization, for the end customer. In some categories, it will take about a year to rise.
Canada. They have 42 A4+, of which they will probably be transmitted, since they are in the second line, and in the first line there are modernized 20 A4 and 20 A6.
Sweden - STRV-122, if allowed to transmit up to A6. This is actually an A6 with a short gun, but better armor. They have about 120 of them - so they can squeeze out a company.
Portugal - bought 37 tanks from the Netherlands, and is now experiencing problems with money to maintain and extend them to the 30s.
Switzerland - sold 42 Swiss-type Leopard A4s to the Germans. Now they actually allow the supply of Swiss systems and ammunition to a warring country:
The Security Policy Commission of the National Council (lower house of parliament) of Switzerland has approved amendments to legislation that provides for permission to re-export Swiss-made weapons through third countries to Ukraine, according to a statement published on the website of the Swiss Parliament.

That is, these 42 Leopards can be used for direct rather than circular deliveries.

In fact, the main habitats of free Cats now are Spain, Canada, Germany. The rest will allocate no more than 20 cars.

Also, a different initial state allows you to maintain certain deliveries for a year or more. Just picking up the equipment. Probably the main donors are Spain (they are ready to sell 53 and there are about 100 on the list) and Germany in terms of long-term supplies.

And none of the listed new tanks are planning, the maximum is to upgrade to A7.

No, no, no, submarines first. But how will the leadership of the Ukrainian Reich be evacuated?
After all, the Germans are a bastard, and they were still breaking down, and now they are rushing everyone! A shame! Although Hitler was scum, he subjugated the whole of Europe! And now Europe is being led from across the ocean.

Already now it would be nice to strengthen anti-submarine reconnaissance

What is there to be ashamed of, under its own power, as in the distant 1941. And on the lead tank there is a "dead head" standard. The road is familiar...

Niemcy jeszcze w styczniu nie chcieli dać czołgów Ukrainie. Więcej powiem, nie chcieli dać Polsce zgody na wysłanie Leopardów do Ukrainy. A teraz namawiają wszystkich, aby to zrobili. Skąd ta nagła antyrosyjskość i proukraińskość ?...

An interesting fact ---- to help the affected Turkey, there is no question in the EU, everyone is holding some kind of meetings, approvals, but things have never happened. And when it comes to "military assistance to Ukraine", they are quick to help ...

US hi, so Turkey is self-willed, then it buys what they don’t allow, then it offends “its own” in the block, then it doesn’t want to accept newcomers into the sandbox, so there is no money.

how will Scholz shoot back when, let's say, the Turkish army comes to visit him to resolve geography issues?

The Turkish army has long been in Germany ..

Well, in order for the Turkish army to reach Germany, it needs, like in the good old days, to occupy Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, and then to lay siege to Vienna, and then the path to Germany will open.

On the other hand, the Sultan is building the Great Turan in the east and south. In general, he is very, very busy, especially after recent events. Therefore, the probability of conflict for Germany is only slightly higher than the arrival of the Annunaki.

Therefore, the probability of conflict for Germany is only slightly higher than the arrival of the Annunaki.

The entire history of mankind is proof that as soon as any country suddenly becomes weaker and loses the ability to defend itself, then absolutely incredible events begin to happen to it IMMEDIATELY. And the arrival of the Annunaki is far from the most incredible thing that can happen to Germany - you didn’t imagine a year ago that today’s Germany could be torn to shreds by France and Poland? But now they can, and I'll be very surprised if they don't try. And to fly through the disarmed Balkans to the Turks is like sending two bytes, especially since there are already plenty of Turkish partisans in Germany fellow

Why would they tear Germany? Okay, Poland, but not France. In Europe, it makes no sense to take territories, it is much more profitable to integrate mutually, which is what they are doing there.

Germany under Merkel deliberately ruined the army, yes. But its neighbors were also negatively militarized, especially in terms of ground forces. Netherlands - sold Leo2A6 at bargain prices, cheaper than scrap. Belgium is similar. Italy only cut costs, and those that were invested in the fleet and aviation. France - similarly, among the main programs of the ground forces = a clear anti-papus direction and also the struggle to reduce the cost of maintenance, there is their future support for the infantry units of the Griffin and Jaguar, instead of normal wheeled armored personnel carriers (if anything, they reformed the tracked ones to a landfill even earlier under Sarkozy).

In general, there is an opinion that if they had sat on the priest for exactly a year before 26-28, then the European military-industrial complex and armies would have collapsed thoroughly and no 500 billion would have been able to straighten things out. And again, the second wave "Why do we need NATO in Europe?" - rose in 21 in the same Germany/France/Italy.

The striped ones quietly substitute the Schmolz with a "locomotive" in this mess. They only considered this issue, promised, but this one supplied and also the EU forced, hurried ..... In any case, the "locomotive" has an unenviable fate.

Our moderation in response and political idealism only contributes to the incitement of the conflict, because. the enemy loses fear. The idealism of a citizen in private life becomes his personal problem, the idealism/naivety/gullibility of a politician is a set-up for the whole country.

Germany turned to its allies with a request...
Then Germany was "persuaded" to become more actively involved in the military support of Ukraine and transfer its tanks. Now Germany itself is beginning to urge the allies on. The marches of the 40s of the last century are beginning to sound louder from Germany. The Germans simply need to broadcast M. Romm's film "Ordinary Fascism" on TV around the clock.

The idea of submarines in NATO is swept aside. But this is for now...

And how, purely technically, will she get to the Black Sea, if we do not consider issues with the crew and the repair base? Like in WWII by rail or what? So it needs to be gutted. On its own, so she will have to get up for repairs to begin with, but how in Ukraine they know how to put submarines in order, only the lazy did not whinny. You can still see one of them in Sevastopol in the South Bay, what was not taken away when they gave it away?
