The head of the Kyiv regime, Zelensky, explained to the French press the order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hold Artemivsk until the supply of Western weapons
Ukrainian forces stationed in Artemivsk (Ukrainians call it Bakhmut) and its environs have been ordered by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to hold the city's defenses until Western weapons are handed over. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro.
Recall that last night Zelensky met with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who specially arrived in Paris. He urged European leaders to change the rules of the game, likely by requiring them to become more involved in the Ukrainian conflict. Then Zelensky talked to reporters, raising, among other things, the topic of the defense of Artemivsk.
According to Zelensky, from a strategic point of view, Artemivsk is not of particular importance for Kyiv. In addition, during the fighting, it was almost completely destroyed by artillery fire. But Zelensky does not intend to give an order to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine defending him to retreat from the city.
The head of the Kyiv regime said that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will defend the city until the West transfers new weapons to Ukraine. Zelensky expects that with the help of these weapons, Ukrainian formations will be able to repel the attacks of Russian troops and go on the counteroffensive themselves. Naturally, the lives of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not matter to Zelensky.
It is interesting that the Western press, which has been propagating “humanism” and “human rights” for decades, does not have any questions about how expedient and humane it is to “utilize” thousands of Ukrainian servicemen for the sake of Zelensky’s dubious symbolism, why, if the city is not strategically important, it should be keep at that price?
But in an effort to play along with the Kyiv regime, the authorities of Western countries, both political parties and the press have long gone beyond common sense. Paying for the ambitions of Zelensky and the hatred of Russia by his Western patrons are ordinary citizens of Ukraine. But this, to a certain extent, is their fault.
