Terrible chlorine. How Ukrainians spit on international laws

Yesterday I watched a video of the death of our fighter after the drop of a homemade chemical munition by Ukrainian drone, and in my head I heard an idiotic song from my youth to the tune of “Songs of the Crocodile Gena”. “Cyan chloride spreads like a tablecloth, like a tablecloth ... And climbs under a gas mask. Everyone, everyone believes in the best. A nuclear mine is slowly exploding ... "
We really believed that there were no idiots left in the modern world who would dare to use weapon mass destruction, including chemical. That is why they rejoiced at this youthful optimism. At the same time, we are well aware that one of us will have to fight anyway. Our fighters were "planting trees near Afghan orphanages", as our newspapers periodically reported, even then.
Reports that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using chemical munitions against our soldiers have already been posted on the Telegram channels of our military correspondents. But there was no video or photographic evidence. Even then, it was from these short messages that it became clear that either chlorine cyanide itself or some of its derivatives were being used. The symptoms of the lesion clearly indicated this.
Ukrainians again repeat what has already happened. Only it was not in the Second World War, but even in the First World War. Most readers are well aware and remember the use of mustard gas in that war, but almost no one remembers this very cyanogen chloride. But the Germans used this gas precisely against the Russian army. But the British and French are against the Germans.
I don’t want to write about another red line that the enemy has crossed, and I won’t. Similarly, I will not talk about the urgent convening of the UN Security Council. No, Sergey Lavrov's department is obliged to do this, but there will be no sense from this. In this case, the bastard who ordered the use of chemical weapons will only be stopped by a bullet. And better - shells and bombs. Without tantrums and pulling out hair on the head. Cruel, cold-blooded and without snot.
The soldiers on the front line are right. Enough to write about the 500s and "mortgage holders". Do you remember the goodwill gesture of our command in Mariupol with the release of the captured "Azov" under the guarantees of Erdogan? So, one of these “I will never fight with Russia again” became the commander of the new Azov regiment. Now it's time to remember Konstantin Simonov's 1942 poem:
So kill at least one!
So kill him quickly!
How many times will you see him,
So many times and kill him!
This applies not only to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also to those "democrats" of the West who finance and supply Ukraine with weapons. Nazism is already speaking openly through European politicians. History repeats. Already today published data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the use by Russia (!) of non-lethal (tear gas grenades) action.
Someone doubts that now everyone in the West will talk about this, and everyone will ignore the video that served as the reason for writing this material.
By the way, our General Staff is silent again... What are we waiting for?..
Why is chlorine chloride dangerous?
Cyanogen chloride (CICN) is a colorless transparent liquid, not a gas, as many people write. The confusion arises from the fact that the freezing point of this liquid is only -6,5 degrees, and the boiling point is 12,6 degrees. It was first used as an OV in 1916 by the French.
That is why cyanogen chloride is ideal for use in Ukrainian winter conditions. If the temperature is below zero, then it is either a liquid (up to minus 6-7 degrees), or a white crystalline powder (below minus 7). When the ammunition explodes, there is an instantaneous transition to a gaseous state.
Even under adverse weather conditions, an irritating concentration of gas (0,002 mg per liter) is created. And under favorable conditions and the absence of wind, the concentration becomes intolerable and deadly (0,006 mg). It is easy to understand that it is cyanogen chloride that is used. Everyone knows the smell of chlorine.
Cyanide chloride refers to cyanides, but the defeat of this gas has some features. Initially, cyanogen chloride affects the respiratory organs. Acts as a suffocating poison. Irritation of the respiratory tract, chemical burn, and then pulmonary edema. Irritation of the mucous membrane of the eyes. Next comes the cyanide. Spasm, convulsions and death.
The gas is heavier than air, so hiding from its effects in some shelters is very problematic. Exactly how the use of most gas masks that are in service with military and civilian services will not save from defeat. Activated carbon is not an obstacle for cyanogen chloride.
But the most vile thing is that cyanogen chloride is widely used in the production of fertilizers and plant protection products against pests. Hence, it is not at all a problem to find this OM at civilian chemical plants. Theoretically, we can smash all Ukrainian chemical plants to smithereens, but will this give a result? Doubtful. But the supply of "chemistry" from Europe "for the sowing" will be for sure.
"Let's remember gas masks"...
I already hear calls to remember about gas masks. Above, I already wrote that it is impossible to filter cyanogen chloride with those gas masks that are currently in service with an ordinary (not a chemist) soldier. The main filter element of such a gas mask, activated carbon, simply does not capture such compounds.
Theoretically, you can protect a fighter from cyanogen chloride with the help of a regular gas mask. To do this, it is necessary to add one more filter box to each regular gas mask, an additional one - a DPG-3 cartridge. Have you imagined such an attack aircraft in modern combat? Or fighters in a strong point in such gas masks?
Again, purely theoretically, the commander can force the fighters to carry additional cargo on themselves at the expense of ammunition. But fools on the front line don't live long. The logic is simple. Whether or not a chemical munition arrives - the grandmother said in two, but everyone knows that the cartridges in battle run out quickly, and there are not many of them.
Some experts suggest using an insulating gas mask IP-4, which is used to work in conditions of low oxygen concentration. The oxygen in this gas mask is produced by a special cartridge. Just what does it change for a fighter? It's one thing to use somewhere on a submarine, another thing - in the trenches or in the conduct of hostilities.
There are also those devices that are used by rescuers and firefighters - "Fenisty-300-2". In simple terms, this is a mask into which compressed air is supplied, which guarantees a person's breathing for the entire time the cylinder is working. With seeming simplicity, such a balloon behind the backs of the fighters is a mine on cocking. Any hit and...
I think it’s not worth describing further options for saving soldiers from exposure to cyanogen chloride. It is clear that this cannot be achieved without compromising the combat capability of the unit. And there is very little time left for the use of such ammunition. Let me remind you plus 12,6 degrees - the boiling point. Very soon, cyanogen chloride will be just as dangerous for those who use it as for those against whom it is used.
The danger lies not in cyanogen chloride, but in the fact that it is easy to replace it with another agent. The very fact of the use of a poisonous substance is important. Those who made this decision showed complete indifference to all conventions, treaties and other international documents.
And gas masks?.. This is a new challenge for chemists. The world, it turns out, didn't give a damn about all the agreements if it wasn't beneficial for someone.
Is there a quick way out?
If we discard theoretical considerations and consider the situation from a practical point of view, then there is a way out. And I marked it at the very beginning of the material. Launch a massive information attack on the West in order to recognize the use of chemical weapons by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time.
Following. Of course, we can slide down to the level of Ukrainians. We have some chemicals that are sometimes used by our special services to fight terrorists or bandits. Increasing their production and adopting the army is not a problem. But how are we different then?
It seems to me that today we need to move the front as far as possible from the Donbass and the land corridor to Crimea. Well, to make the most of the capabilities of our troops to strike at the infrastructure of Ukraine. It is necessary to destroy ammunition depots.
It is necessary to make a political decision and finally decide on the places of concentration of weapons and equipment for Ukraine abroad. We know where the weapons collection points are. Are these goals for us or not goals? Now there are ships with American infantry fighting vehicles. Why are these targets on the territory of Ukraine, but not up to this territory?
If the West openly declares that it is at war with Russia, why don't we declare war with the West? I have already written that it is too late to be afraid. And if so, why be afraid? To call an enemy an enemy does not mean to immediately start fighting. But if this is done, then the enemy will begin to think not only about the rhetoric of his statements, but also about his actions.
