Ukrainian experts linked the strikes on facilities in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions with the attempts of the RF Armed Forces to identify the most vulnerable places
The Ukrainian side, after an air strike on a facility in the Chernihiv region, where military activity has recently increased significantly, suggests that pro-Russian forces have stepped up in the region, transmitting information that only locals could know.
The wording about “local knowledge” is original. Apparently, the fact that the leak of information (if it was) could be carried out by someone from the Ukrainian military, including the command staff, the Ukrainian side cannot afford to consider. That is, the sale of food products to the military at a threefold inflated price is possible, but the sale of information is not ...
Attention is also drawn to the increase in the intensity of artillery strikes on targets in the border areas of the Sumy region, from where Russian regions were periodically shelled, primarily the Kursk region.
In this regard, Ukrainian military experts in various talk shows and their channels reflect on the fact that the Russian side “thus tries to identify areas of vulnerability for a possible launch of an offensive in the north, or at least for the purpose of imposing exhausting battles with pulling Ukrainian forces from other areas front."
It is noteworthy that these conclusions are made against the background of frequently appearing statements either from the Ukrainian GUR or from British intelligence "about Russia's lack of forces and means to attack the northern regions of Ukraine."
