US State Department confirms upcoming sale of 18 HIMARS rocket launchers to Poland

Washington intends to make an $18 billion deal with Poland. We are talking about the supply of 18 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and ammunition for this equipment.

This official announcement was made by the press service of the United States Department of State.

State Department Approves Possible $10 Billion Sale of HIMARS Systems and Related Equipment to Poland

- it says.

The delivery set, if it is approved by the US Congress, in addition to the complexes themselves, will include 468 charging modules, 45 ATACMS long-range missiles, as well as various blocks for this equipment. In addition, Warsaw will receive spare parts for MLRS and training missiles.

When the United States will deliver this equipment is still unknown, but the US Department of Defense also confirms this information. The US Agency for Security Cooperation reacted positively to the idea to sell the Haimars to the Poles, saying that the deal would help strengthen the defense capability of the United States ally in the North Atlantic alliance. They said that the supply of complexes would be fully consistent with America's foreign policy and its national security.

Since even before the announcement of the press service of the US Foreign Ministry about the deal, Bloomberg had received information about the deal, it can be said that the US State Department confirmed the upcoming sale of 18 HIMARS rocket launchers to Poland.

Last year, US arms exports grew by almost 50 percent compared to the same period last year. This is mainly related to the supply weapons Kiev

In principle, the "Himers" confirmed their right to exist, at the first stage of the SVO they were skeptical, but the accuracy of the arrival of six charges at one point is higher in power than that of the "caliber" and the greater penetration of reinforced concrete fortifications and bridges. Now, if you put navigation and guided charges on the "hurricane" there will be something resembling nuclear weapons in terms of destructive power.

    There are 10 billion here 5 ....
Where do the Poles get such money from? Or did the Americans give them a loan to buy equipment?

      They are not poor.

The Polish economy is a socially oriented market economy. Sixth largest economy in the European Union and the largest among former members of the Eastern bloc and new members of the European Union.

Yes, and the payment is clearly divided into several years.

Germany will be shaken with a vengeance.
Also, the striped ones will be connected to the arm-twisting of Germany.

The system is working, but it is POSSIBLE to level the danger from its use by the enemy!
Again - a comprehensive approach, with which we do not have all the rules, alas.
It seems that everyone knows how, but there are not enough means for effective counteraction, not everywhere and not always ... alas.

And it doesn't work for us. Expensive and useless. Nightmare peacekeepers - it will do, warehouses and command posts are covered with MLRS without bells and whistles and cost an order of magnitude less, but how exactly MLRS with six barrels - the Chimera does not dance at all against even the Hurricane with 16 guides. Despite the fact that you can just shove high-precision ones into the Hurricane - and a complete analogue of the Chimera, but cheaper.
In short, with the Chimera, the Americans fell into a cut, the Germans are still stirring up something with the installation of 2 blocks of 6 missiles, but this, too, is for lack of a stamp. For example - why the hell do you need block loading? All the same, the TZM is needed to bring the block and unload it to the ground - that is, the time is the same, the equipment is the same, it’s just that out of your mind you shoved an unnecessary crane onto the combat vehicle, making the car heavier and driving up the cost of the launcher. This is not to mention all the "pluses" of unnecessary complication and weighting of the machine, which minus reliability and maneuverability. This is not to say that packing missiles into a block at the factory is stupidly more expensive, longer, and therefore complicates logistics

From Poland diligently make a monster!
Apparently, in 1-2 years, the Poles will have the strongest army among the European members of NATO.

At a minimum, long-range missiles will end up in Ukraine. And maybe. and the settings themselves

Having received 18 HIMARS, Poland will fluff its tail even more, rushing over the bumps of anti-Russian rhetoric and not forgetting about the Abrams. Well, the Americans are rubbing their hands - how well everything is developing for the American military-industrial complex and forcing tension on the Eastern flank of NATO.

And not only for the American military-industrial complex. And not only. But for the Russian military-industrial complex, everything will be multiplied by almost 0.

Under the program of becoming the number 1 army in Europe, Poland was going to purchase about 500 Haymars. Modestly somehow they start. True, and the rate of release of Hymars in 2022 was 60 installations per year with a plan to increase to 96.
